Probably, too much randomization without enough mitigation and the small 3x3 grid, not really allowing a game to develop thoroughly. The potential is there, though.
I highly disagree with Tom on Pigs on Trampolines. My 4 yr old is very entertained by the game. Any game that gets her excited to play is one that stays in my collection.
Seems like above par concepts and presentation with below par execution. Lab Notes really gets me though, because I really like the concept. Katamino looks the most appealing to me, personally. Not sure I would call that 3D. It's really 2D that loops around and has 3D presentation. Makes me want to play Tetris Sphere. Now, that's a great game! Digsaw is a hard pass. Not in love with the idea of cutting up and destroying a board game I paid for. I'd really need to be hooked on the game play or it would have to be cheap with a good amount of content.
Tom, since you've reviewed Katamino Tower, have you ever tried Buildzi? Our family really enjoys that one.
Digsaw might be more interesting if you had to pass the card to your neighbor after each turn. 🤷♂️
Farm Club seems like a cross between cascadia and point salad, both games I adore. I wonder what made it fall flat given how great those ones are.

Are you going to review slay the spire? (The new board game)
Tom I love the bookshelf tie, do you remember where you got it?
Quite easy to find, just Google for "bookshelf necktie", under images pick the version you like most.
The tower game would be better if it was called Nakatomi Tower 😊
