Makes sense why there's so many party platform buggies too. Saves having to buy the truck if you're just going to swap the axles and everything anyway. Fun stuff!
Man I hope y'all keep going to all the big mud bogs!!! I love watching the videos y'all do of the events!! I've been watching mud bogs since Trucks Gone Wild had DVDs back in like 2008!! I'll definitely watch y'all's stuff at the mud bogs! 🤙🏼
The one major part that you missed was truck and trailer to haul. You can’t just drive it down the highway to the events and drive home. And you can’t just rent a uhaul trailer and haul these trucks. Take specific types of trailers and a capable truck to pull them. Which can be as much or more then the mud truck itself.
@@Scottholiday13F don’t be the asshole friend that’s buys a truck expecting your buddy to haul it for you everytime. That’s the friend that no one likes.
Just like any other type of motorsport. You need to have mechanical knowledge and ability just to own and operate it. Or you have some really deep pockets and have a team of people , just to go to any event.
Yeah great pricing, everything seems spot on for when i did my 2.5ton truck build. The only part i think your leaving out, is now that you build this truck you now need a way to haul it to mud holes. So now your talking another 5-15k for a trailer and anywhere from 10-80k for a pickup to pull it depending if you buy a new or used pickup pull truck lol.
Its taking me a few years, buying good deals when i find them. Whole 70s 5ton 6x6 that ran when parked for $1800, 02 F250 with 12" lift springs and 54s for $5000, $3000 in 4 late 70s ford parts trucks ive bought over the years for bodies, engines, trans, T cases. I Could probably throw something together from all that with an extra $5000 in other parts. For about $15,000, id have a fun cheap bog truck, more of a stage 1 leaf springs monster truck type build. But...thats not the plan LoL 🔥💵🔥💸🔥💵🔥
Time for more power 632ci and power glide .i will never get to go to a bog.mud bogging does not exisist on the califorina side of texas not one person in oregon would ever spend that to have fun like u guys do great video justin.i love bogging .check out perkins mud bog.u want hard core that as hard as it gets. Explain how u afford those bog trucks .? Glad u doing gas truck .not diesel fan .keep them comeing glad to see u into rc xmaxx great choice .
Great video, thanks for all the info! Now, I think I speak for most of us non youtuber peasants when I say we are most interested in the financial income of a channel of your size, making the content you do... thanks Justin!👍 👍
Awesome vido I knew a lot of prices because I have looked into some of the parts, ie stearing, long arme and joints, disk brakes, I currently run a 1998V10 Dodge 2500, with 3” body and 5 1/2” suspension run 40” irocks, I have some rubbing at turn ,so I need adjustable track bars and long arms, part that came in lift don’t quite get it where it needs to be
Probably the same reason I never went to California from Toronto to get into the custom car scene. We're Canadian. I don't mind visiting the States, I don't know if I could live there. And we have free medical. You don't get that in the States.
@@Enter-a-name55 I could clarify… I’m tired of 7 months of winter up here, be nice to spend most of it down there, where they don’t know what a snowblower is
Awesome video. You'll have to do a second video on how much money you've got in your Ford there , Love the Content boss , good luck in your burnout vehicle at Cleetus & Cars , OK. I'll say it, gas truck . P.S. she's gonna be a ripper
sheesh, that number was a little more than i expected i was thinking 20k . i saw one of these for sale years ago the guy only wanted 5k for the whole thing running and driving man what a deal
Those are Florida and maybe TX prices. Up here in Northern Canada double all of it lol. Dam I need to live where the mud isn't froze 8 months.luv the vids JH
Anyone know anything about the white frame he showed real quickly? I remember watching the video of him picking it up from the shop a while ago, but can't remember what the hell it is
Never going to be in the market for a mud truck but can respect the video and breaking it all down. Wish more people did this kinda break down.
Makes sense why there's so many party platform buggies too. Saves having to buy the truck if you're just going to swap the axles and everything anyway. Fun stuff!
I knew these were expensive but to hear from someone who has built many of them just exactly how much they are really blows my mind!
JH.. keep being you! So many people do not understand what it takes to have fun. Hard work pays off!
I still want a mud truck! Thanks for showing this!

Would love to see you do this type of breakdown of the race truck.
Great video, thanks for sharing. You delivery was high energy and excellent flow. You got the info out there, let the fun begin.
The most depressing part of this video is seeing your 2002 mud truck has less rust than my 2018 daily. Winters in New England suck.
Thanks JH for the information !

Gooseneck trailer is so that’s needed
Being a welder myself for the labor side. This was a great video to watch for the future
We need some JH work shirts. Like green, gray and black slant stripped ones with a JH patch 😮
thanks for the price walkthrough. very interesting
Good information for alot of people out there. Thanks for the heads up. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great breakdown, gives people an idea what it cost just to get a similar build... But one must know how to turn a wrench

Excited to see the video for tgw in Louisiana. Right down the road from the house
Really like the information. Very, very interesting.
Miss the good lookin mud truck you flipped this thing looks BEAT!! Give burgundy some LOvE man and put a diesel in that thing!
thanks for this video and break down, i respect every mud truck i see much more after watching this
Great info.Thank you
JH and Justin y'all rock! Peace
Workin' hard-n-Playin' hard.. worth every penny.
Great content thanks for sharing
Considering that truck was listed for $19,500 when you bought it, you’re doing good at $19,000 all in
Great info.

Enjoyed this almost as much as a bog video, 👍
Y'all need to come to woodpeckers mud bog!! This month!! White springs Fl
One day I’ll have one. Having a mud truck has been a dream of mine for a while
The picture quality on this video 🔥
Great video bud, really very accurate. Give or take
Thank you my boi. So hhappy 😊
Jh when you gonna finish the white mega truck I’ve been hoping that more content would come out because I would love to see it.
How much does it cost to build a mega truck? More then you can afford pal lol 😂
Ferrari! Smoke em.
😅 more than I can afford. Plus the truck and trailer to haul it plus fuel and maintenance!! That's a lot of 💰💰💰
All you gotta do is sell Merch😅

Would love a piece break down on ur 6.0 truck when your done building it
Can you explain t-case ratios with tire sizes and how much horsepower you need. Nobody has covered that.

Way diff from a full tube subframe, 4 link suspension, hydraulic steering, drop t-case and 5 ton axles.
Cool video, wondering what those trucks cost to build
👍👍
Jh you should pulley swap your lawn mower and invite everyone over
What are some future upgrades you're planning on making to the truck to improve the performance?
Yay the rado is back
I need to move to Florida
Moving there this summer. Convoy with me.
You got some golf carts on a trailer in the back ground
I would like to see a video of the project sitting next to the big truck
Why have I not moved from BC 🇨🇦 down to Florida yet? That’s the only question I have right now. ✌🏽😎

You should build a budget mud truck giveaway🎉
damn, my boy just spit facts for 25 min strait and didn’t skip a beat
He has been practicing for this video his whole life.
Many people just thinks about the building cost, then they get shocked what it costs in maintenance etc.
I run just about all grade 8 bolts on my lofted Commander due to I was bending all the stock bolts
Great video man! But that poor stock transmission after you build your mega truck. Lmao
love the videos
It costs as much to daily drive a 6.0L Ford!😂 ask me how I know!🙄
Feel like I may have went over budget with mine
Blank Check!! lol
@@JHDieseland4X4 pretty much
You forgot to include how you get the mud truck to events
He’s not naming any names lol
I got a 89 gmc 1500 in good shape that I’d like to do something fun with someday for now she’s my daily
in the future please make a "how much to build a custom mud truck" for the ford
and build the diesel motor to over 1,000HP and 2,500 torque please
are you still rebuilding the 6.0 mud truck!!??
nice video
I miss the OG 6.0 mud truck not gonna lie. I completely understand why she was put on the back burner though.

How much u gonna have into ur new 6.0 build?
Dropped the name Circuit City
Depends on how deep your pocket is 😜👍🏻
Best place to buy heims ????
Supercharge it...!!!!
Would u use a truck with a rotted frame
sheesh, that number was a little more than i expected i was thinking 20k .
i saw one of these for sale years ago the guy only wanted 5k for the whole thing running and driving man what a deal
these numbers dont phase me i still wanna turn my 2500hd into one someday. But i want to learn and do it on my own

I got a question. You gonna be able to make it to the end of the race Friday without crashing for once? 😂
An don't forget tow rig and trailer
give us a video of a wash down and who does it how long
He has been practicing for this video his whole life.
Yo yo JH Diesel
What's going on with all them golf carts sitting on the trailer???
How much would it cost me to put a Cummings diesel. Into a 1997 f150. Manual v6 gas engine please let .e know if it can be done thanks jh diesel
❤
When’s the 6.0 mud truck content coming ?
You left out what ya got to have to haul it lol
You should just sell your truck and come ride in our short bus. You'll fit in better and it will be cheaper 😂😝🇺🇸.
Super Charger???? D D Speed Shop😮
Except you forgot the engine.....cant just use a stock engine so either upgrades or power adders or even a whole new engine .
Which Louisiana mud fest are you goin to
Anyone know anything about the white frame he showed real quickly? I remember watching the video of him picking it up from the shop a while ago, but can't remember what the hell it is

How much does Dennis Anderson have in King Sling?
Bout 200k
Hell yeah
damn. jackstand jimmy trying to hook his boys up with a cheap set of lifters??
3500 for shocks ain't that bad a set of x3 shocks costs more than that 😅
Translation...I can't afford a mud truck...:).
Shit i did everything my self and get all parts at cost and I’m 100k in without paint or powder. Wheww!!
I don’t know why no one’s made a pontoon truck yet. Take a pontoon boat and throw the mud truck setup under it and have yourself a rig.
I’d buy as much used parts as I could
