A black Friday present, and its a stunner Geckota W-02 Workshop collection

Hey guy's my names Troy, Im bald and I collect watches.
Christmas has come early as this was kindly bought for me as a present from my dear old mum. She managed to snag this in the Black Friday sale of 2021.

This setup is so versatile. Aliexpress sellers can easily put on custom dials and hands and have totally new watches. I wish these were sold as kits where you could select your name and dail look..

Case shape looks awfully similar to the seagull 1953, lovely touch with the grey subdials and grey strap

Hi Troy, I was wondering how your watch has held up after a year. The crystal on mine popped off and cracked a few days after arrival and I only recently brought it to my watchmaker who commented on a design flaw on how the crystal is set from the factory. He had to slightly mod mine in order to fit an upgraded acrylic crystal.

Hi Ron, sorry to hear that, mines done very well, but with over 60 watches in the collection this watch might not be stress tested enough to give a solid verdict. I do wear it a lot though.
