Also, every night, cooler air from the Sierra crest comes downhill. Not a breeze, just light air movement, but it is a small factor.
Why are they not dumping water on this fire. They have more then enough resources with Sacramento River and Lake Shasta. Fly over drops fire retardant which is OK but you need water as well. They allowed this fire to burn when it should of been contained...just unbelievable 😤
