@@warshadow2g492 Because he's not as good as all the LPL fanboys make him out to be. He and Weibo in general had smooth sailing and WAY easier matchups, thats the only reason they were in finals. If GenG, JDG and T1 hadn't all been in the same grouping we definitely would have gotten a different final.

They did it! From underperforming in LCK during Faker's absence, losing to GenG, having a weak performance versus TL and GenG in the Swiss Stage, to ramping up, defeating every LPL team starting from 2-0 BLG, 3-0 LNG, 3-1 JDG, before stomping the last obstacle!

it should have been a great worlds - but T1 despite being such huge underdogs initially turned out to be too good - they just stomped the LPL 11-1 over 4 series...I would have never imagined saying it 2 weeks ago but IT JUST WASN'T CLOSE and hence somewhat of a let-down especially that finals
Keria legit mind-controlled the 'best supports in the world' into first-timing champions like bard in a worlds final, only to pick xayah-rakan as the biggest F you of it all in the last game of finals, bringing the meta full circle - you couldn't play against him, so you had to give the most op champs just to try something different..that's DOMINANCE
all T1 members looked unbeatable at some points at worlds - mid-bot didn't even get a chance to shine because topside was running over everyone at finals

T1/SKT is the undeniably best team in the world and Faker the best player of all time. LPL is inferior in every single way when compared to the LCK or better compared to T1/SKT. This final win was all I wanted, this T1 roster felt incomplete without a worlds title and now they have done it. I am beyond happy as a fan and now I can finally sleep at night again 😅
If the LPL was inferior to the LCK then the LCK wouldn't have failed to bring out more than a single team to semis, their first seed wouldn't have gotten crushed by not even the first LPL seed, and they would dominate MSI. None of those things are the case.

And even their record at worlds is spread across many different rosters with different players, which makes is circumstantial just as it does to always grief to them at the other major international tournament of the year.

2017, 2019, 2021, 2022 I have been present and supported you on all of these defeats. And I thought, I might be the problem always jinxing you and cursing T1 to win. So this Worlds, I decided to do the exact opposite. Looking for every podcast, every video, every topic about your games this worlds and criticize you as much as possible and exaggerate my praises with your opponents. I even went far as betting on every opposing team. Maybe that way I may jinx all of your enemies. The hardest part was being harassed by fellow T1 fans (I'm surprise people can't Identify exaggeration and satire) some would even message me directly and attack me personally which is indeed a toxic trait of a T1 fan. But now that you've won it was all worth it. The harassment the money I lost. I don't care if people believes me or not. T1 ARE THE CHAMPIONS and that's what's important. Faker has cemented and sealed his Title as the God of League and the GOAT and the new T1 player has proven themselves. Special shoutout to Yamato Cannon , IWD , Thorin , The LPL casters and whomever who looked down on T1 and Faker, the despair in your voices when they won feels soooooo good . T1 good job, you've done it in the most convincing way possible.

The scale of Faker's accomplishment can't be overstated. Winning worlds again 10 years after his first win.
Nobody else in esports has that kind of staying power at, or near the top.
This was his 6th worlds final, and his 8th top-4 finish. He's unbelievable. He's the greatest to ever do it.
I think he's legitimately surpassed FlaSh at this point. T1 were 1-7 without him in Summer. He comes back, they qualify for Worlds, he plays like a god to send them to Finals, and they win Worlds. After a potentially career-altering injury.
