I’m 29 and I’m obsessed with this woman! I think a lot of her feelings of loneliness and addiction to pills is what I relate to! I had a dream of her 2 weeks ago and it was her closing and throwing away my pill bottles! Although I have been off pills since December 2017! I was thinking about them when I had the dream it was so weird but yet so amazing

Judy Garland was a freak. She was a perfect storm of emotion, voice power, voice control, internal metronome, exquisite timing, acting ability, intelligence, beautiful voice and "IT". On her concerts she owned the stage and her audiences. No one, and I mean no one, was in her area code for capturing an audience.

you said it brother right on the money! I watch this over and over and cannot believe what I'm hearing and seeing. She is the song and one with it. No separation. She pulls you right in as if you went to an art gallery and there was a Van Gogh at the end of the hallway. That is all you see and everything else is obliterated. One of a kind that has never been and will never be!!

Bi-Costal Teacher ... Truly. And, three cheers for her kid, but not on her best day, in the most generous world, in her wettest DREAM does Liza Minnelli even approach the toe of her mother.
      Not. even. the. little. toe.
Garland really had IT. Rare, strange creature-like Elvis or vintage Michael Jackson. Explosive talent/charisma. Even if the songs were kinda-sorta (and Garland owned the American Songbook) ...
Well, that’s why they live onward and capture imaginations from one generation to the next.
I hate to say it and don’t mean it in a bad way, but she’s almost freakishly gifted.
Otherworldly is probably the better term.
      Yeah.

TRUTH! I had the impression that she wouldn't find her voice at the start, so tiny & delicate she appears. But damn, she packs a wallop in those pipes, and her effortless control is charming, disarming, & alarming, all at the same time. This is why music halls need constant structural repairs.

Judy Garland was a stage performer from the age of 5, and it shows in her performance. Her moves are not rehearsed stagecraft, but something ingrained in her from those many years of performing live on stage.
I wonder if people were to compare her live performances with that of other performers who learned their craft of singing in a sound studio, whether a difference would be noticeable.

What words are needed? Almost otherworldly talent and artistry. It’s humbling to see this kind of greatness on a video clip. Can’t imagine what thunderbolts hit an actual audience, same room. Explosive genius.

There was ONLY ONE JUDY GARLAND with an Incomparable talent! Don't remember a time when JUDY was not in my life. But I do believe Renee Zellweger did an amazing job of portraying all facets of JUDY'S complicated life. 🏆

But that movie had NOTHING to do with Judy's life, it was all fiction.

THE BEST way to get around world's pressure is to listen to good music. Judy Garland;s music was the GREATEST music. She didn't just sing the music, she became a part of the music.
