Nicely done! Ill be watching you close for pointers on our own fishing vlog... keep up the great work!
What a catch!! Great work Keep it up
mad awesomeness ... fishing can't get better than that !
Beautiful trophy fish, in prime condition by the looks of it. It must wonder after being released, "what just happened?"
great!!!
Awesome video Roarke! Must have been a leka fight!
Great boet! Worth every second...
You must be using steel cable. Straight rod on nylon would have broken long ago
Lekker surf and great fishing. I wondered if a fighting harness might help you. What do you think?
Huge shark.
why does he fight the fish like that? I also noticed that the reel seat was so low, why do they have it low on the rod?
thanks for the Vid, enjoyed the visual, but maybe tone down on the background music it is a bit overpowering.
big fish
How did you weigh it?
Sir can you give me all specification of this rod, reel, line, hook... please
I wish I could afford this kind of tackle 😂
Josh Mair same here😂that reel probably about 10k if not more
RIGHT NOW ikr😂 the rods also so expensive. I cant even afford a saltist grinder 😂
Ld60 running around 12k now
Ruan Jacobs thanks for crushing my dream 😂
Josh Mair dogfight grinder hitting 20 k now, as well as expedition haha
Trace and line on reel?
The Shark Hunter KZN Team Daiwa appreciate the reply Boer! Guess I gave to stick to my torium 50 for now lol. What knot was that on the hook? Looked solid!
Isn’t that a bronzie tho
Reel n rod that worth 6 month my salary.
There's no doubt that it's a good fish but "Using the right tackle"??????? Walking up the beach and winding in the slack is not fishing and shows your tackle isn't up to the challenge. It just isn't the right gear to be targeting fish of this size on.
Clearly you don't know what this reel is capable off
@@scangling64 My statement is still valid. Walking up & down the beach winding in slack line is not real fishing.
@@fifis101 Then what is it ,this is a tactic of landing the fish and he made right decisions to land it ,approached it like a pro
@@scangling64 It's not really a correct form of fishing. Basically all I'm saying is that if this method was needed to be used then the reel didn't have a capable drag for doing the job. This is nothing against the angler, just against the statement made about the gear.
@@fifis101 the gear can easily handle the fish packing 66 pounds of drag more than enough ,and the line capacity is amazing it's just that he didn't want to risk loosing the fish
