Orm & Mera | Are you with me?

I made this video after watching the Aquaman movie (yes, I'm late in movies) and when I finished watching it I ended up shipping these two, it is a pity that the film will not deepen more in their relationship, so I did this edition thinking about an AU where Omr discovers that Mera betrays him but lets her go on the condition that she never return to Atlantis, just as he proposes to Arthur before the fire hoop.

Mera and Aquaman are an iconic husband and wife duo in DC so I completely understand Orm and Mera not being OTP. However I wish they went more in depth with Orm and Mera's relationship and make it a case of former/failed lovers.
This is what I would have done.
As children they were inseparable and after awhile developed feelings for each other. In their midteens they were engaged to each other and were a happy young couple. However distance, diverging worldviews and Orm's arrogance created a grift by their early twenties (maybe he cheated on her or something?). Mera pulls away and maybe has a outside relationship but still holds on to their future joint rule and reconciliation. However once Orm is due to become King he still doesn't married Mera after years of engagement due to mistrusting her and wanting to consolidate power for himself. This combined with a action that affirms his evil plans makes Mera finally let go and try for some years to get Arthur to take the throne and overthrow Orm. I know its a lot but I wish something like that would have been fit in.

I really like orm, for me he is a good character, for me he s not a bad person, he just choose the bad way, to protect atlantis just should be more know, but yeah patrick wilson is amazing actor, as vilain and coolguy too

Although i don't ship mera and orm i still love this and the song does describe them perfectly i wish orm had a someone to love in the film honestly i feel like he's miss understood and that has been proven to be true (small spoiler alert)
Orm is proven to be a good person in the second aquaman film and at the end of the first film it was actually really sad seeing him cry when he reunited with his mother i feel like he deserves someone nice and that'll understand him...hes definitely my favourite character in aquaman orm mera aquaman/Arthur are definitely my favourite characters!!❤❤❤
