Great video! Thank you! After the passing of my beloved wife I needed to downsize from my bigger 43' trawler. I wanted a vessel with all the amenities my larger boat had but in a smaller package. I ordered and took delivery of a new Ranger Tug R-31 CB in 2021. After three seasons of use, I absolutely love my boat. My tug has even more features that my larger trawler had; solar panels, bow & stern thrusters, wine cooler, engine driven cabin heat, two full Garmin electronics packages, etc., all as standard equipment. I also opted for the cockpit steering station, dingy with Weaver quick release davits, full cockpit enclosure, etc. Because the designer and owner of Ranger Tugs John Livingston had worked for Bayliner, people accuse Ranger Tugs of being low quality. Not so! They are well built vessels that offer lots of features for the money and are incredible with regard to their use of space making all of their vessels seem larger. My tug is vey economical at 8 knots but can also cruise comfortably at 15+ knots. It is a lighter boat, however, I have been caught in some very sloppy situations including 5-6 foot seas and never felt unsafe. I generally cruise coastal NY (Long Island Sound), coastal CT and RI. I also love the fact that the dealer service is fantastic as well as the factory which will take your call or get back to you to answer whatever questions you might have. After three years of ownership, I am very happy with my Ranger!

Y’all should do one on the old potter hull sea crafts. And maybe the old whalers
Great suggestions! We have been looking into doing an episode on Boston Whaler and it may be something you'll see soon! Stay tuned!
