Nice Greetings from bavaria to Texas! I Love Texas, and even also the American Automobiles, like the US Cars from the 1950 - 1970s at most! :) What i nice Cadillac Ranch! However my most favorite Bodistyle are 4Dr Hardtops, especially in the Mid-Full size cars from the 60/70´s :) Every safed classic car is a big part of safed history of America and the Automobile, too i think & when classic cars stand on yards & places like these, they´re in the best hands i think :) What is so much amazing for me are even places like this one or all those Junk Yards, especially the abandoned are so fascinating for me too, i hope the pople who´ve that big luck to own an place with classic cars on it wouldn´t crush them.....Because i can tell you how sad it is, when you can´t find any junk yard or something else like this anywhere...for people, car guys like me this is the sadest case. But that´s the truth at Bavaria, germany. And so i can tell you; Just safe every junk yard, every place like these or anything else like this, every classic car and also younger cars, too....Because i think there will come up a time where you´ll be glad to find these places with all these parts and cars. You wouldn´t beleave what cars would be restorable, restorable in the eyes of people from tomorrow, especially when thehre are fathers with sons like me who´ll get an affordable project car for a self-restoration-priject. The problem of the more famous kind of US classic cars like an Mustang, Challenger or anything else called "Muscle Car" is that these are too expensive for the most people. And the less famous cars are the better choice for ordinary people, car guys who´re looking for an classic car project. And so i think every classic car is worth for saving, however it would spend more years on junk yards, that´s better than trash them into the crusher! :( Crush classic cars is something what i can´t undserstand.....That´s like a crime, when crushing classic cars i think... However, i hope to see more nice videos from you, i love your channel with all the nich videos of that stuff what i really like and sadly can´t see by myself, because i´m over the pond, far far away from places like thist :( So the only possibility to see these amazing places and car stuff are videos and channels like yours, thank you very very much for that! :) I wish i could live at Texas, i really love Texas and that lifestyle so much! Cheers Till
About Restoring & Parts Search - I also search parts and sometimes also restorable Project cars, too... Can i ask you for Parts & Cars, too??? Look, i´m still restoring an 1967 Chevy Caprice/Impala 4 Door Hardtop, what i found in Ohio, so the car wasn´t in bad shape, but all 4 wheel arches/Fenders/Quarters had rust, the lower windshield frame was rusted the whole wide and such rust spots....And i learned to rebuild the Body with new, self/hand made/shaped new sheet metal, got the special skills for the shaping the new sheet metal, welding and all those importand Bodywork skills with even this project, where i´m still working on. Now it got both wheel arch sections of the front fenders in a condition like new, with even this work of rebuilding the wheel arch sections by myself, with my Father, all done with new sheet metal work. Never thought that i could do this work and learned that this welding and shaping sheet metal could also make a lot of fun, too. However it was a lot more easy to change both front fenders in better ones. But these 67 full size chevy f.fenders aren´t in reproduction, and the only whay to get it is to find better used ones at USA. And there was my problem; Not the right conections. And so i took my hands and beginning skills in welding and shaping sheet metal, and rebuilded the whole wheel arches..then the whole lower windshield frame, then the quarter-panels, what was the only parts in repro for 2 door models. But all the other sheet metal was done with self/hand made sheet metal work by me & my 70 years old father. And now i´m looking for a better garage to can work again on the car, because the work what is done until now was done at another garage where i had to go out for other projects of my frend and had to stop the work on this particular project. Hope i can work again this year on the car and finish the whole bodywork. There isn´t that much work to do, because the weatherstrip channel of the trunk is the present work in reproduction, or even we was working on this particular section at last. To finish this and some little spots, too, then we´re ready with the bodywork and then i´ve to give it to an paint shop. Because painting an car is that particular work what i can´t do by myself or even this is the only work what i can´t do by myself. I wish i could! ;) But for ordinary i love it to work on the engine/-bay. However, is there the possibility or option to can tell you what parts, or project cars from places like this i need and you could have open eyes on your tours for these? Because i think that was an great option, also for you to get money for that, too? :)
I enjoyed driving them but working under the dash was murder in the first. So many relays going to other relays as well as say a window or seat... speakers. Just too much for me to work on... he has nice rigs
Lol "nobody wants a basket case....this a nice 4 dr" lol. 2 this I'm interested in 1 a 56 cadillac rear bumper and 2 the mid 80's Eldorado convertible not my favorite car but is a fairly rare coach built car. Let me know anything you can about either. Thanks 🤙
