I work with Adobe programms for over 15 years, now learning Animate. This is by far the best way to explain masks - just using physical props. Excellent work! Really great teaching!
I really enjoy all your videos! They are very clear and informative! But, I had a problem with this one: after I entered the BG, the jar and applied the Mask, nothing is happening when I test the movie (28:15). I followed your instructions 3 times all over again and I get to the same result! I am surprised there is no Tween on the timeline, only the first frame! Please, someone, help me understand what I do wrong! Thanks!

Help I got a problem. It is in the mask no/2, car and letters. On the stage I can see the mask is ok. The image of cars is in the letters. When I play it I can see only the car, no mask. I am working in Adobe Animate CC. Solved( I've researched this and it appears that some versions of Animate CC have this bug)
Does Adobe still support Animate? It feels like a lowly open-source application, with it having it’s own mind! Adding easing where you’ve never wanted easing! Even when you select ‘no easing’?🤮

but how you edit a mask while move frames, example hide an arm
why i need to hold on everytime the control key before masking ?????

Only Flash is not supported anymore. That’s why I set most of documents in HTML5 Canvas platform.
