How much do we really know about the Adivasis and Tribes in India? Constituting more than 8% of the population, Adivasis and Tribes in India and their successes and issues are usually under-reported, portrayed in stereotypes and neglected. We want to change this narrative, or at least attempt to do so.
Majority of Adivasis and Tribes live close to nature. They are often called the guardians of the forests.
Adivasis in India have consistently contributed to the diverse culture of the country. Jumbo ke Vanbandhu celebrates the tribes and adivasis of India. Enjoy as your children take you on this Van journey with the hashtag #KnowTheAdivasis
