Thats what I used to do, if there was a fight going on or scuffle... as a GK. I just chilled. I was much bigger than everyone (height and weight) so I just stepped back because there was always a little guy trying to prove something by suckering a tall guy.

Late to the discussion. But the keeper started the whole thing by kicking out at the attacker. After that he stood by and let everyone fight

The guy in the first clip is embarrassing. He got up and tried to punch the 9 (who ACCIDENTALLY caught him and was in the midst of apologising) in the balls. The 9 showed restraint there, the blue deserved a back hand for his troubles.
That was intentional not an accident lmfao
If guy who got punched had decided to flop, there would have been a red card for sure.

Half these cracked out tackles my select team coach always took us off the pitch. "you dont protect my players, we will take the consequences of me protecting my players". The class of Nigerian and surrounding coaches whom played international levels.

This video was tame compared to the others. Was a lot of late tackles or ones that were a little rough. This is more of an example as to why so many referees have quit and why no one wants to take up the job in their place

All of you saying how bad the referees are.... the abuse we take, and the petty 'gamesmanship', similar to 13:45 (the entire clip) is why there are so few referees.
There are a lot of bad refs. yeah you can't get it all, but some of there sere atrocious.
There's only one group that can make a change and that's the players (and their entourage of clowns - coaches, subs, parents)
It has to be a conscious decision by everyone involved to make a change and get the behaviour to a level where the real problem children can be dealt with.

I agree. The angle is bad for us, but if the keeper got the ball there it is a totally clean play. Definitely should given a red to the player who kept pushing the ref, though.
I zoomed in and slowed it down. Keeper totally got the ball, there should’ve been no call. It still doesn’t excuse the actions of the white players after the play though.

@Scott Beliech I'm not sure how my skill level has anything to do with the referees' lack of ability to adequately control and punish the terrible tackles and play seen in these videos.
Most people who always say all of the referees are really bad have probably never been one before. It’s not an easy job and you’re under constant stress. Just like the players, refs are human and can make mistakes. The play at 5:20 was absolutely uncalled for. Even if the ref was 100% wrong it is never okay to put your hands on an official like that.
T.L.D.R. Reffing any sport is difficult and refs are human too.
If you can't make relevant decisions in stressful Situations then don't be a ref, These refs are pretty Bad, especially the American. And Well, the other refs do make the right decision in Same Situations, so it has to be based on Skill :)
@@50126 I’m not saying all of them are right. What I’m saying is people are going to make mistakes. That’s just who we are as humans. Yes of course, there are some refs who are just bad, but there are also time where players and spectators don’t fully know the rules and will get really heated. Also, it’s one of those things that looks easier from the outside than it is actually doing it. I bet the same people who scream at refs would probably have the same thing happen to them if they were to try.
@@OggdoBogdoSucks yeah you're absolutely right, but what i wanted to say is that there are so many refs that you can't defend with phrases like "They're unser Constant Stress", cause every ref has These Same stressful Situations, thats a part of being a Referee. Some are Just absolutely Bad and ignorant, coming from an U19s Referee :)

Many refs have to be more trained. Regardless, no one deserves abuse! (11:15 number 99 should be suspended from any soccer activity in his province for verbal aggression).
They should be flying reds for anyone who calls them names! Any physical aggression will be dealt by police (like in French amateur leagues)

I was playing indoor soccer recently and someone tried to kick my feet when I got the ball, I didn't like that so I leaned back into him which he didn't like. After I passed the ball, he purposely tried to swipe my feet. I told the ref but he didn't do anything

That indoor facility is one every one of these videos. It's clear they don't care what happens there. A good facility would have the entire teams kicked out and we wouldn't see them on these videos anymore. When they lose their insurance after major incidents they'll have wished they ran a better business.

I agree 1000 percent , and the worst part is the morons clapping and actually believing it’s the right call , plus the guts outside the fence and the red still wants them gone , we call that a soft ref if you can’t face criticism don’t be a ref or do Under 10 soccer leagues only
@@justinperry5181 I don't know what planet you're from, but criticizing calls is one thing, abuse of officials is another. That towards the end was the latter. Even the guy who pushed (more than once) the ref got lucky with just a yellow. You didn't pay money for that privilege, the refs don't get enough for it. Kind of reminded me of Shoresey where "I'm just taking one of ya!". Some dangerous ones, some SFP ones deserved reds for sure. Stuff like that normally escalates.
I blame baseball. So many idiot parents in baseball, and think their kids are gonna get a scholarship or something.

In my opinion soccer became popular in USA not so long ago, and people are still thinking that moves from american football and rugby is legit. MAN IT IS NOT!!! Dexterity and accuracy play an important role in this game. You will never become good soccer players with sheer brute force. Love you all guys, no hard feelings, lets enjoy good quality soccer together without any unnecessary brutality!!!

I also believe that he pulled a yellow and then the red meaning he got his 2nd yellow in that incident.
@4 yep, that might be some local rules. Still in general, to allow slide tackle in futsal, on futsal indoor surface, on such small pitch - is just criminal. No time to react, super slippery, injuries guaranteed. Organizers allowing it have no responsibility, basic imagination.

These refs are half of the issue not carding these reckless players
The clip at 8:26 was never a foul on the keeper. the player took the ball round the keeper who then took out the player. penalty.
Number 7 at 9:40 needs two red cards for that play.

Alot of the 'tackles' appear to be red cards and the refs only issues yellows. I think if more refs would punish that behavior appropriately their would be less infractions
