Max Mara's Resort 2025 collection took inspiration from the enchanting city of Venice, a historical crossroads between East and West. The show, held at the magnificent Palazzo Ducale reflected the collection's grandeur.

The collection kicked off with camel, black, white and tan and introduces silks in nuanced shades. From ‘robes de chambre’ to parkas via trenches and tabarri, Max Mara served up the stateliest coats. There were gowns for special occasions but there were also sweeping spolverini, snappy tunics, sharply cut tailleurs and neat all-in-ones with everyday elegance ready for travel and adventure. Outsize tassels, chunky drawstrings, extravagant handkerchief cuffs and velvet pannier skirts were key features. The series of turban inspired headpieces was realised in collaboration with legendary milliner Stephen Jones.
Max Mara's Resort 2025 collection offered a luxurious and adventurous take on modern femininity, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Venice.

Beautiful knits and belts- must haves for the transitional weather and its accompanying temperatures…sumptuous and rich and substantial fabrics. Lovely.
Max Mara has out-done itself with this superb collection! To me this is what fashion is all about. Expertly tailored garments in high quality fabrics with exquisite colors. As a person of short stature, I especially appreciate the monochromatic outfits that create a taller image that when colors cut the wearer in half. I would buy many of these outfits for myself.
