Thanks so much Steve, if you have not been there before, I highly recommend that you consider it :-D Sitting having a drink looking over the sea on a late afternoon is fantastic, absolute relaxation!!

Great video of my favourite village on Koh Samui. It brings back some really good memories. I do have one bad memory though. On my last trip I had a bad experience in one of the restaurants and ended up spending a night in hospital.

We love it there too! We always eat at restaurants there, and street food at the Friday Market and have not had any problems. Sorry to hear about your bad luck, hope you were still able to enjoy some of your holiday afterwards! :-D

Glad you liked. We where in Koh Samui in June/July so not there now. Weather information can be seen on this blog samui-weather.blogspot.dk/ (it gives a daily description of how the weather is in Koh Samui, very useful / this TH-cam channel is not associated with the blog in any way). If you have any questions feel free to ask us.

Nice vid. I'm off to Samui for 6 days in June. Trying to decide where to stay. Bophut was a strong contender from my research before watching this vid. Its me and the gf going but want to make sure that we wont be bored in the evenings. Is Chaweng the best place for evening entertainment? Any idea how much the taxi fare wld be from Bophut to Chaweng? Cheers.

Hi there +john smith, lucky you to be heading down there in June, we know that you are going to have a good time! We are normally there in June/July and stay at Chaweng Beach because of the day and evening atmosphere. We are not "party" people as such but love the choice of restaurants and bars that Chaweng has to offer. Chaweng is a place that either you love it or hate it, we love it. We enjoy visiting Bophut, mainly the Fisherman´s Village Night Market (held every Friday), from Chaweng and can tell you that the taxi fare should be maximum 400Baht. If you take the Songthaew taxi, Koh Samui´s public transport, it should cost max 100 Baht per person (tourist price) and is a fun ride. Here is a link to our playlist of videos about Thailand => th-cam.com/video/dFjYzsgcg0M/w-d-xo.html , we recommend that you also watch the Chaweng Beach Road videos at night and Day! Have a fantastic holiday and thanks for watching and commenting our video :-D
