Thanks David. Feels like it took forever to get to this point. Between clearing about 70-80 trees over a quarter acre, popping stumps, burning brush, grading, pouring the slab, etc. It was nice to finally start on the actual mill. Lol
Thanks Joseph! Wait til you see the cutter head assembly video. Lots of wrenching, but I’m happy to say it went well and the head is on the track. Video coming very soon!
Hehe. I liked the start of the video. I think all parents have gone thru that at some point. Nice job guys and girl. Things are coming along nicely. Have a good day.
Nice, 2 years ago the value of those 4x4's would have surpassed the cost of the mill! Looking forward to seeing it run. I still need to get to the farm when Nate Bissell (Bissell Maple Farm) runs his. I haven't seen it operating in person yet.

Thanks Mitch. It definitely makes it more enjoyable when they help. Good times 👍
Looking good! You have to be so excited to be putting it together! I can't wait to see the first log go through!
Thanks Justin. It’s been a long time coming. Lol. The cutter head is also assembled and on the track. Hoping to cut the first log real soon :)
@@BuildALotAcres Looking forward to it!
Great start Case! It's going to be really nice having your own mill. That's awesome. :)

Yes sir. Lumber has come down, but it’s still more than I want to pay. It’ll be nice having my own lumberyard 😎
Not sure I like those 4x4's sticking out on the bottom, seems like a tripping hazard
Good point. I figured it’d be more stable, accommodate a possible future wider mill, and give a good place to attach the concrete anchors.
What does he have a date?? 🤣😂
Haha. The "little" guy sure was in a hurry :)
