OMG I LAUGHED SO HARD! von, hun, you are priceless! god I love you! you teach me things, make me smile and make me laugh so hard exactly when I need it! LOL you are our wicked little angel!
Great video! I'm looking for a decorative piece to add onto the handle of my blacksmith hammer, and was thinking I would use a curved version of this. Thanks for the inspiration! Keep up the great work, your videos are amazing. :)
I love this one!!! So beautiful and will make beautiful Christmas presents. I was excited to see parawire on Amazon but yikes! The price is nearly double. Thanks for another fabulous tutorial.
Could floral wire work for wrapping?? I think the green color of it might work good for some of my projects. And it is something I have on hand already.
Although it may be a great wire to practice with' green floral wire is usually a painted base metal that may cause allergic reactions when the paint crackles and chips exposing the wire. It will also rust over time. :/
If the wire has loops to be stabilized in, like in this piece or when I am using a chainmail bezel, I will use a thinner gauge, but if the sections are open, like in a ring of beads or on a gear I will use a thicker gauge :)
It would, but it's a bit runny and can take a while to dry. A small dot of hot glue could work just to hold things in place until the wrapping is done :)
LOL! Hilarious. Thanks so much for the idea and the smiles !
i like the celtic theme. It is elegant
Hi Yvonne, it was Eni onken who did the ring tutorial of a square cab like this. Very pretty adaptation BTW, XO

@@Vin_SMB thanks for the tip, good to know
Lovely pendant. With fractal wrap you used 24 ga wire and now 26 ga wire. How do you decide wich you use?
If the wire has loops to be stabilized in, like in this piece or when I am using a chainmail bezel, I will use a thinner gauge, but if the sections are open, like in a ring of beads or on a gear I will use a thicker gauge :)
You can use baking soda and super glue if you have nothing else. I'd suggest experimenting first on scraps and such to get the idea of it.
would dimensional magic work for the glue?
It would, but it's a bit runny and can take a while to dry. A small dot of hot glue could work just to hold things in place until the wrapping is done :)
Thanks, I do have jewellery metal instant glue too but it is a bit brittle when it drys it seems (used it on gears for a gear pendant)
Eni Oken had jewelrylessons.com I was subscribed until she closed her site. You can get her tutorials now on Etsy.
