@@andrewrivera4029 My diet is primarily meat based consisting of glyphosate free, grass-fed organic beef, homemade glyphosate free, A2 kefir from raw whole milk, raw cheese and corn and soy free eggs. One serving/week of wild caught salmon drenched in organic grass-fed ghee. I eat one or two spoonfuls of fermented veggies/day as well in addition to a thin slice of homemade keto bread from almond flour. One organic avocado daily. I completely avoid grains and all raw veggies. Almonds are pretty toxic, so I’m looking hard at getting rid of the keto bread.

I started wearing a Levels CGM two weeks ago. I’ve been on the Proper Human Diet since January. I was shocked to see that when I ate some stew with potatoes in it after church, my blood glucose shot up over 200! It came back down pretty quickly, but took about 2 hours to come all the way back to the 80’s. I was insulin resistant, pre-diabetic, waist 41,” 40 pounds overweight and fasting glucose of 100 prior to diet and lifestyle change. Now 35 pounds down, waist 33”, fasting glucose usually in the mid 70’s.

From what I have researched, it is important to store Nattokinase in a refrigerator, as it loses it efficacy if store at 20 degrees C (70 F) or higher.
Also, I live in the South and make a rule to order products such as this in cool or cold weather, as they travel multiple times in hot nonrefrigerated trucks.

Thank you for this content I have been having a lot of plaque buildup. My cardiologist told me I was incorrect. Now after an emergency cardiac catheterization. I was informed that all of the veins or arteries on my left side of my heart are quite plugged. He's been assuring me for 2 years and I was wrong when I told him I felt like my heart was getting plugged up. I had a stent on the right 3 years ago. He's done multiple tests informing me that I passed with flying colors. Go home and quit worrying about your heart ,a month later I was in the hospital passed the same test was being released. They still refuse to catherize the heart saying that I couldn't pass those tests and have much plaque in my arteries.. I have a visitor who is a cardiac nurse and she told him she still having chest pain you don't know what's wrong with her heart she wouldn't be here if she wasn't sick. My visitor told the doctor that I couldn't go home until they found out what was wrong with my heart and we wanted a catheterization and that's when I told that my plaque from several years ago was extremely worse and it was in all three arteries of the left side of my heart. They can't stent I'm older and I'm diabetic. So they're basically offered me nothing gave me a few medications. I'm doing a lot of researching the supplements to help. He gave me a medication that has the side effects of brain bleeds and heart failure so obviously I'm not taking that one. I'm very interested in natto and also serrapeptase. And they ordered cardiac rehab I did not have a heart attack because I went to the hospital. With a BP of 275/115. I have been fighting diabetes for years. Please take note that your doctor cannot always be trusted. If he had performed this test two years ago like I asked I would have had more time to work on this.

I have this type of A-Fib. and the way I found it was with my Apple watch. My doctor thought it was just heart palpitations I was describing until I showed him what my ECG looked like that I captured when I was supposedly having "palpitations". As a result I'm on medication for it now to prevent it and it's working well. This video was a real "mind blown" moment for me because guess what I had years before this? I was diagnosed Type-2 Diabetic (now under control with an ultra-low carb diet so I don't need Metformin any longer), and also I had clogged arteries which I unclogged with Natto. Coincidence? I think not! Just thought I'd send that along given the content of the video. Thank you for all you guys do!

Have you looked at Taurine and it’s effect on the atrium.?
I read that it helps the atrium in some fashion and causes it to no longer have A-fib in some cases.
Now, that is very important to understand.
Most or all people after a certain age do not take in or create enough taurine.
It’s very inexpensive and easy to take 1 or 2 or 3 capsules.
So, you need to look into that with your research background.
It really is a “need to know.”
Taurine is also necessary throughout the body.
The brain, the eyes, the liver, the kidneys…
It also helps the energy level.

I'm 67 and on Ketovore for years, eat low inflammation, and lots of exercise every day. Don't want to lose any more weight. CAC from my decades of eating bad "American Triangle" food was not the best, but I intend to stop the progress of plaque and hopefully reverse it a bit. CGM for a month showed I didn't need to pay money for CGM to just watch a line stay in the green zone the whole time, so that's under control. Still use KetoMojo and Uric Acid testers from time to time. Keep up the good info!

I like Natto myself. Dr Sean O'Mara says to have multiple types of ferments and have a little with your meat etc and masticate it all together while eating, natto is a good addition to sauerkraut, kim-chi etc. I did not know the things you said about natto (chatgpt) "Natto is a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans, using the Bacillus subtilis strain, which aids in the fermentation process and produces beneficial enzymes. This fermentation also results in the production of vitamin K2, a crucial nutrient that supports bone health and cardiovascular function by helping to regulate calcium distribution in the body." I moved to Japan years ago and it's common to eat natto in the morning for breakfast with nori. The natto packages come with Japanese mustard and soy sauce to mix with the natto. Add rice and fish for a really tasty breakfast. In Japanese grocery stores there's an entire refrigerated section filled full of different types of natto - different types taste different. There are also certain areas in Japan that specialize in natto, such as Ibaraki. It's really good and if you eat enough different types you begin to notice and appreciate the different flavors. It's like wine tasting.

You need at least 10,800 Fu daily. It is safe even up to 50,000 or higher to significantly reduce plaque. Calcification of plaque is mostly genetic. N.K. will only reduce the calcified plaque if started early, so you would need a CT contrast scan or angiogram (echo) to see if it has gone too far.

I can eat 1/2 slice of whole rye bread - 16g carb - without any BG spike. However even 10g of sugar in a piece of chocolate, even with a very fatty meal, causes a large spike. Sugar is clearly the culprit for BG spikes, in my case. A CGM is essential to figure out these issues.

@@exploringbellingham9223 I've used two different CGMs - Freestyle Libre 2 and Dexcom G7. The Libre lasts for 14 days and I like the features on the reader more than the Dexcom's (I don't use a smartphone, just the manufacturer's readers). The Dexcom lasts only 10 days, but is more accurate than the Libre. Also the Dexcom can be calibrated with a finger stick result and the Libre cannot, and the Libre read high, sometimes 20 units or more, for the entire time I used it. I used the Libre two times and the Dexcom 2 times so far. Note that when you roll over onto the CGM while asleep, the BG reading will plummet, setting off the low alarm. This can be shut off on the Libre reader but the Dexcom reader will still vibrate if the audible alarm is shut off. So I have to keep it in a drawer at night. This issue makes the average BG calculated way off. CGMs are great however for watching what happens after meals and during fasts. Best used to monitor relative changes because the absolute accuracy is not great. They can be up to 20% off which is a problem if you're trying to distinguish a 100 from an 80 or 90. Note that these devices are godsends for diabetics who need to know whether they are at 300 or 150. Despite the accuracy problems, you still can map progress over time to see if your AM fasting BG is declining (or not).

    Two things:
    1) Those are not kanji characters. Those are Korean alphabet characters.
    2) If you want nattokinase in its most natural form, get natto at your local Asian supermarket. Natto comes in 100 gm styrofoam packets usually stacked in a 2-pack, a 3-pack, or a 4-pack. The best natto comes from Japan and is shipped/stored frozen and once you defrost it it is natto in its purest form. The nattokinase you have in the video is not pure natto but rather processed, i.e., freeze-dried, which robs it of its purity and consequently its nattokinase efficacy and nattokinase benefits. Oh, and natto itself is much cheaper than nattokinase. You cannot order natto on Amazon because natto is stored frozen/fresh.

As for cooking natto, I asked a friend of mine in Japan and he said it is well known (in Japan where natto is eaten on a daily basis) that when natto comes into contact with heat (some Japanese eat natto on top of hot rice), the heat kills some of the bacterium that produces the beneficial nattokinase protein. In other words, if you cook or heat the natto, you will reduce its beneficial effects. Most people eat natto raw, or with mustard and "tare" sauce (which comes with almost every packet of natto), or they add some kimchi on top of the natto. I take my natto out of the freezer about 1 hour before eating it. After an hour, the natto has a slimy (almost like snot) texture. Once defrosted, I eat it raw without mustard, tare sauce, or kimchi. It took me at least one year to acquire a taste for just plane natto, but I was eventually able to do it. I break my fast with natto and usually with a hard boiled egg . All the best to you!

FYI…… i’m a 70-year-old female. I just recently traced the cause of my heart skipping beats. It turns out that ( for me) it was decaffeinated, Diet Coke, and decaffeinated coffee. I stopped, consuming anything decaffeinated, and the palpitations went away. So in my opinion, there must be something in the process of decaffeinating that doesn’t agree with my system. It wouldn’t hurt to give it a try. avoid decaffeinated products for a week or so and see for yourself. I hope this helps.

If you take Natto and cut yourself, the blood will flow a little smoother and longer than "usual" and then clot normally. If you use prescription anti-coagulant Warfarin, your cut could make you bleed to death before you could reach the hospital. I can confirm this on my own example that sometimes I had an accelerated heart rate, at the moment I don't have it, but I regularly supplement with magnesium, in my study of various forms of magnesium, I think that magnesium taurate works best because it has a beneficial effect on the heart, 2x a day 500 mg in the morning and evening, washed down with only water. In addition to reducing blood pressure, magnesium taurate may have an overall cardioprotective effect-meaning that it may protect heart health. This could be due to its antioxidant properties, or its ability to reduce cell damage caused by oxidative stress.

In my coffee Nattokinase recipe (no sugar of course but few gram of glycine), i add a few drop of strong cayenne pepper sauce to facilitate absorption of this natto into the circulation. What do you think ?

Excellent video. Since Dr. Brewer brought up A-Fib, I’ve read high amounts of fish oil (which has been recommended to me by my MD - 4g daily) may cause A-Fib. Dr. Brewer, would you address this in a video, please?

I watched most of the lectures by the leading scientist studying fish oil. As of a few years ago 1 tsp of Carlsons fish oil is okay.

My theory is, if plaque is a result of an arterial version of "leaky gut" then it would make sense that higher LDL or Apo B levels would cause.more particles to leak through the intima layer. Using a statin to lower the number of particles could lower your heart attack risk. Going on a low carb diet would then heal the leaky intima layer and your LDL can no longer leak through, so your heart attack risk is no longer reduced by taking a statin because no matter how high your LDL is, they can't leak through to cause plaque.

Thank you for all the informative videos. Question: I bought the Nattovena but after watching many of your and other videos...is it safe to take not knowing if my plaque buildup is soft or hardened? I will be looking for a Cardiologist this week anyway.

I hope that Dr Brewer will listen to people on this channel and reduce the length of the ever so long videos. The good content can be delivered in 10min instead of 60min. Thanks for listening

    👋 Hi
    Love your content!
I’m 61 with an 8 year old I’m trying to stay alive for till I’m at least 75 and last year I diagnosed with a 1335 calcium score 🤯 and about 25% blockages. After I started intermittent fasting and lost 45 lbs and maintaining it. Feel pretty good and am pretty active work wise as I’m a Plumber. I drink mushroom coffee every morning and take vitamin K2 with vitamin D and take a baby aspirin every night before bed. Do you think I should add the Nattokinase to my regimen. I was prescribed a statin but don’t take it! The mushroom coffee really works on inflammation as I used to not be able to sleep from the pain in my shoulder and arm from a torn rotator cuff but barely even know it’s there after drinking the mushroom coffee for about 3 weeks!!! Also drink Kachava a few times a week as a buffer! Try and eat mostly healthy. 2 eggs everyday
Please let me know your thoughts! Greatly appreciated thank you ❤
