Obviously, this video was taken last spring of course and we all now know theres the 858 and an optional touch screen if you care about techy stuff. The 600 is a beast in this chassis.... the 858 will be a real animal. Great vid!
Thanks for the great review. I love the new Catalyst! Best looking sled on the snow. I love 129” tracks on trail sleds. So happy they got rid of that horrible oil tank/ chain case combo that was on the ProCross. This sled was worth the wait. I’m waiting for my 2024 ZR 600 to arrive! See you on the trail.
Every sled made should come in a multitude of color choices when ordering. We're talking M.Y. 2024 here. Give buyers a choice. Can you imagine if Ford still sold all their vehicles in black only compared to the competition?
Love this sled. As an Arctic Cat fan, I have been riding them since the late 80's. I have had almost every version of their sleds over the years. These days, I look for light and easy on the ol' body. Honestly, I'm at the point where I think the 600 will satisfy me just fine at this point in my life. Looking forward to getting one of these in the next few years.

I’m from Alaska near Nelson Island, idk if it’s good to have air box on the top when there’s blowing snow all the time and extreme cold.. hard to say hard to tell only way to find out most likely keep in garage or keep it covered
Can you comment on the uncoupled 129 a bit more? I'm curious if it gives a bit lighter feel. Does it still corner as well as the 137 coupled from what you have experienced? 129 uncoupled is quite intriguing knowing how well Cat is at keeping their front ends planted.

The 858 is exciting, but I'm more curious what is after that. Poo and Doo both have 850 turbos now. And with Yamaha stepping out I'm doubting the 998 finds a way into this. So will Cat have a replacement for the current Tcat? Or is it going to take them as long to respond as it took them to get into the 850 game? I sure hope not as that means 2032... No joke, they were 8 years behind on getting an 850 competitor.

Snocross sled is still procross (from what Ive read) catalyst for cross country. Very similar front and rear suspensions, calibration is always key, no chain case/belt drive is long overdue. Nice machine. And so is the 'old' still competitive, procross.
I miss when Arctic Cat was their own company and had their own theme. They were unique like Pontiac, with their own thing. Like Grand Prix, Bonnevillle, and Trans am, Arctic Cat had their own thing going with Cougar, Pantera, Jag, and of course, the El Tigre. They just chucked cool sounding letters with numbers. I was conceived on an Arctic cat(yeah pops tells me this every August)but I wish they would have stuck with the cat names. Just my opinion.
Welcome to the modern era of sleds AC! That old crappy gauge? No accessories to show? Nor a fan of the switch gear. Im sure the 600 wouldn't be a slouch. It does sound nice. At least AC is trying to hold on to the market. I honestly think 4stroke power is such s snall market. Ac should concentrate on 2 stroke mills. Jmho. Its still a giant leap forward! Keep it up!
Somehow you guys can keep the subtle diss of anything not skidoo going. Zeus quarter turn clips on an easy no tools hood removal on Catalyst is a problem but using tools on insanely complicated skidoo hood is just fine. Went on for years about Sidewinders being too heavy to be much good for anything meanwhile a Doo 850 weighs within spitting distance as much as Winder/Tcat. A 900r turbo is heavier than a Winder, God help those guys if one of their skiis drops off the hard packed trail lol
I’d MUCH rather a simpler gauge vs a bunch of apps that distract from what I’m out here to do: ride a snowmobile. PLEASE manufacturers - less electronics, more simplicity
Really to bad that this new sled looks so good and modern and it’s overshadowed by that old gauge cluster in it, come on arctic cat that’s embarrassing.

Hey guys, in your opinions, is the 129” uncoupled skid better or worse than the 137” slide action for day to day trail riding?

as someone who only owns can am/ski doo. I love this beast! I told my wife no snowsleds.. just glad the local guy doesnt have one.
