Jim Henson already did that for his larger Muppets, including Big Bird. Henson actually pioneered the technology in the late 1970s for Sesame Street and The Muppet Show. The TVs were about the size of a 2021 cell phone. It was pretty awesome and ingenious for its day.
That was because these Daleks were used in an independent film "Power of the Daleks": Reimagined. Hence why the 60's colors were used. I think they look great!
Or at the very least a different damn color scheme. It’s sad that Sec and the Supreme and Ironsides are the only unique colored time war model Daleks. Where’s they grey, gold, black gold, silver, white time war model Daleks?
Crimson Dynamo, technically there’s also the Emperor’s Guard and the Supreme / Commander Dalek from “Parting of the Ways”. The Dalek Guards (the one with the black domes) are more obvious, but in the background of a single scene - behind the Emperor - you can see a black and bronze accented Dalek leading a large detachment of bronze drones.
You fools Daleks are real, just keep being pretending they are fake and some day the real Daleks will invade and you will be treated as the boy who cried wolf, one too many times
new series Daleks do look extremely awesome in the 1960s era colours.
I was actually here when this was done. Absolutely brilliant how it was done
Now It's "done" and dusted - done, done, done.
5:28 interestingly here if you listen closely you can hear the voice of the cybermen at a frequency before the dalek voice. Cool!
Yeah you can
they need to add secret cameras on the outside of the dalek that is hook up to a monitor inside the dalek so the guy inside can see
Be cool if they put a small camera inside the eyestalk so that they can become the dalek fully.

I bloody love the daleks. Absolute icons.
That colour scheme!
I know. It’s so cool!
Great reminder of the fun we had that day, and the premiere of "Power ReImagined" which you'll also find elsewhere on TH-cam
1960's colour schemes on the Time War Daleks?

First Class work Team.
I love this video of Daleks
I like to think of Barnaby as being the Anthony Daniels of the Doctor Who world. Wonderful chap, full of charisma.
Thats me behind the dalek on the stage, wow.
Ferneham Hall. Good God, I saw Rick Mayall there in '84.

I wish these silver ones were the standard in the show.

Ah. This is the prop currently residing at out studio!
I wonder if there is a designated company that makes all the Daleks for tv & film?
