fun fact: The Slimepedia says that the Slime Sea is dangerous to ranchers, but not the slimes. After sinking, slimes are said to reemerge at the shores. It also says that some slime scientists assume that the sea is a means of transportation for slimes!

i hate backseat gaming, but as a tip for largos i generally suggest only having 5-10 largos in one pen! they get out of hand so easily, it can be hard to keep track of 20 in the same pen, and especially if you have the favorite food of one of the slimes in the largo, just 5 largos will produce more plorts than you could even need- just a tip, feel free to ignore it!!
I only have the first game, but I also keep just 5-6 largos in a corral and I keep one garden per corral to make sure I have a steady supply of food. He's also not realizing that he's the one tanking his plort economy...
a couple of things: you can see the "dangers" (abilities) of the slimes in the slimepedia (like what the angler flash does). the value of the plorts goes down the more you sell of them in a short duration (if you would go and sleep some nights, without selling some, the prize would go higher) in the early access, pretty much the only requirement to go to every place in the game is the jetpack, so the fact that youre trying to get it is pretty good >:D ,love your vids ^^
You should look again for the ore you yeeted! 🥺 In other videos I've seen, the items have totally stayed spawned when sacrificing things for the inventory

When you accidently throw a new slime into the ocean. That statue was one of the new slimes that turn to stone in the light. Wait until night or take it into a cave to turn it to normal

You can get the map in the new area without the jetpack! I was able to get it by doing some parkour to climb the tree roots in front of it to get up to the ledge Don't forget to pop some of the gordos still waiting in the starting area too :D When you unlock the next area, I recommend you carry a few henhens on you going in ;)
Plort prices will decrease the more you sell certain types of plorts so if you want the price to go back up then you gotta stop selling the plorts for a while or just suffer 😅

My ideal set up with largos based on how cute the combos are covering all plorts, max output, and easiest favorite foods. This doesn’t double Ringtail or Flutter plorts which are admittedly very valuable, so it may be worth instead making largos of both with your favorite slimes. I recommend Cotton-Ringtails because they are very cute and Honey or Phosphor Flutters. The rule to keep in mind is to always have a Batty, Honey, Rock, Phosphor, or a Cotton slime in any largo you create because they have the best favorite foods. I usually keep about four largos at most in one coral, five or MAYBE six is okay if you have the music box. Lastly, don’t farm pink slimes. Theres basically no reason. If you need them, go get them from the wild areas. Theres dozens every day. Batty-Tabby (Pomegranite) Honey-Angler (Mint Mango) Rock-Boom (Heart Beet) Phosphor-Crystal (Cubeberry) Cotton-Hunter (Water Lettuce) Ringtail-Flutter (Any)
the plort market works with the basis of the more often you sell a plort (ie the cotton plort) the less it will be worth. if you hold on to it the value of it will go up after a while
I’ve found that having around 5 largos and feeding them their favorite food provides a decent amount a plorts and only needs 1 garden per corral. Could probably slide with 1 garden to 2 corrals
New to this and love it - played the demo of 1 - And the preview of number2. Do you think it would be a good idea to play the first one while waiting until the second one comes up? I had a blast playing part one for the one hour demo last night
The First one is a great Game - addicting, engaging, great music and visuals. If you liked the Demo, I definitely think you should play it! It also shouldnt be too expensive on Sale.
I hope that they fix the performance issues, because when running anything but low graphics, my brand new gaming laptop, which generally does fine with good graphics starts running up to 90 Celsius even with the fans on turbo settings and a cooling pad and my rooms fan pointed directly at it At first I started using a controller so I’m not touching it, but eventually I decided this isn’t good for the laptop so I had to tank the graphics quality The weird thing is that there were no frame drops or anything and it ran smoothly, just that it ran too hard
If I remember correctly I think the safe number of largos per pen is 8 so that they don't break the air net. Might have to fact check me but it should eliminate the number of escapes

The max amount of slimes I put in my pens (When they're largos) are 10. 12 largos are okay too but they can still break out easily.
