Kind of annoyed at myself for not finding this channel earlier. Some Pokemon channels are a bit of a pain, usually due to the presenter/youtuber bursting my ear drums as soon as I open the video. This channel never seems to have that problem!

the most important thing for everyone is to remember theres a guy npc that gives you some high tech earbuds that let you mess with more sound options and hes to the right when near the elevator in motostoke
For those who still want to know what the earbuds do, it isn't anything fancy like eq settings, but once you get them you can adjust the volume of the background music, sound effects, and Pokemon cries
I'm not gonna ignore the criticism don't get me wrong is okay to like a game and be aware of the flaws I mean look at botw of wild the game graphic may be the best graphic in switch in my opinion but it did suffer a lot of flaws I mean A LOT of flaws but I still love it
I found a shiny elictrike on the day the game came out. Literally so wasn’t expecting it I even said to my dad hey that guys a different color.....then it sparkled
I don't wanna find evolved forms - I wanna catch a pokemon low level and build a bond with that pokemon; experiencing that amazing evolution moment together :D
Joelasaurus Rex if you have to ask that question, why do you even play games? 😄 emotional attachment to fictional characters is very real; otherwise films/books/games wouldn’t be anywhere near as successful 😄
Just picked this up. Havent played pokemon since the DS about 7 years ago. I feel so lost now. A lot of the game is different and I was never really into pokemon. This game will be the one that gets me into it
Red Meridian if you mean shiny locked, this is actually the first core game to do so. Let’s go Pikachu and Eevee shiny locked the starters, but they aren’t considered core additions to the series, and even so, they were the first game to do so. Every other game from gens 1-7 had the possibility of shiny starters (and yes I know that gen 1 didn’t have shiny Pokémon, but if you transfer them to another game they do still have a chance to be shiny)

Alphonse Plays Games You don't have to wear hats anymore! I learned this the hard way when I bought a nice, expensive hat and got my hair cut to medium length aaaaaand I wasn't able to wear my hat. I ended up keeping it off because I like hatless better
AstrosGamer i didnt rush through it, I literally played the game like any other pokemon game and genuinely beat the story in under 12 hours. Its not hard when your pokemon level up without going into battle at all. Just because you took your sweet ass time getting through it doesnt mean the game isnt too short. It is too short.
@@colel1605 Took me about 26 hours to beat the Champion and I'm just now starting on the post-story stuff. I didn't take my time on too much stuff and never lost a battle, so I guess it's just different for everybody
I have 7 hours of playtime so far and I just beat the second gym. That would mean that eight gyms should take me a total of 28 hours, plus whatever happens with the Champion battle and the postgame. I don’t think the game is too short lol
Soooo I've seen some of the animations including gym battles, and the final starter evolutions' signature moves and....well. *DOPE. AS. FRICK.* Also when it comes to the legendary doggo's theme (which is here on youtube), they used Zacian's Zamazenta's HOWLS AS *INSTRUMENTATION.* The MADLADS.

Tip for those picking Scorbunny: Unlike the other starters Scorbunny doesn't learn a stab move that uses its better attacking stat until 1 level after it would normally evolve, so if you want to get rid of Ember all the sooner hold off on evolving Scorbunny for one level.
I played the 3 times and am going to play it again for the 4th time with Ninjask and Shedninja on my team, and I think it never gets old because you can play the game with any Pokémon in the games on your team, endless replay value.
A part of me is happy about it; I don't have to spend my first hours of the game I am stupid excited to burst into just...resetting over, and over, and over... ^^'

How do you get the strong pokemon to respawn? Like the onyx at the beginning of the game and the others outside the grass. If you runaway why do they disappear.

All you do is select the pokemon you trade and then you can go back to doing whatever you were doing in-game and you get a notification once you've found and traded with someone! You still get the trade animation but it completely takes out the tedious waiting between.
Just bought a pokemon sword/shield edition switch lite with sword and shield dual pack. But I still need to unbox it. Just bought a nintendo switch online subscription card for 3 months as well. The 12 month subsctiption cards were sold out i think but I hope I will be able to buy a 12 months subscriptiom card very soon. Glad I found your channel. As soon you enter the wild area the train station, there are 2 ppl standing on the left they give you either a pikachu or a eevee or both if you have both lets go games
Just completed Legends Arceus and I'm now on my first playthrough of Poké Sword (it's the older game, I know) but I didn't have the opportunity of playing it sooner. I'm really enjoying myself and these tips helped a lot. I'll wait a few more months before I get Scarlet/Violet. Thanks for the video
Damn, I just started the game and it looks awesome! Last time I played was Pokémon Red on my Game Boy and I can't count how many hours I spent in that game. Missed other games becuase I didn't own any Nintendo game console and I wasn't impressed by the gameplay (or lack of it) in Pokémon Go. With Switch this is my return to the franchise and so far I love it! (also a reason why I'm not much affected by controversies about animations, pokédex not fully implemented - I remember original 150!, etc.)

I took on the onix with my Scorbunny (after it learned double kick) took a while but I did it
In sword, I took it out with my Drizzile. In shield, I got my booty handed to me.
I definitely killed it. having the extra 4 or so levels going into the wild area was helpful af.

You can still get the shiny starters but only by hatching eggs
Starters are always soft locked. Get yourself another region mon of the opposite gender and start spitting out eggs using the Masuda Method

Just saying the experience candys are extremely broken I spent a hour getting them caught a random Pokémon and brought it to level 70

How do you get the strong pokemon to respawn? Like the onyx at the beginning of the game and the others outside the grass. If you runaway why do they disappear.

All you do is select the pokemon you trade and then you can go back to doing whatever you were doing in-game and you get a notification once you've found and traded with someone! You still get the trade animation but it completely takes out the tedious waiting between.

Just completed Legends Arceus and I'm now on my first playthrough of Poké Sword (it's the older game, I know) but I didn't have the opportunity of playing it sooner. I'm really enjoying myself and these tips helped a lot. I'll wait a few more months before I get Scarlet/Violet. Thanks for the video

Damn, I just started the game and it looks awesome! Last time I played was Pokémon Red on my Game Boy and I can't count how many hours I spent in that game. Missed other games becuase I didn't own any Nintendo game console and I wasn't impressed by the gameplay (or lack of it) in Pokémon Go. With Switch this is my return to the franchise and so far I love it! (also a reason why I'm not much affected by controversies about animations, pokédex not fully implemented - I remember original 150!, etc.)
When you actually need help playing a Nintendo Switch Pokemon Game and are older than 5 years old.
I have probably spent over $100 k on outfits in the game. Help!
