I love watching landings at AirVenture when the wind is out of the south. That hot, tight turn to final on 18 with the whole world watching has got to be nerve wracking. Just ask Jack Roush. ;-)
That TA-4J Skyhawk was sweet. Don't think I've ever seen that one at shows before. Can someone tell me the history of the jet. I worked on them while I was in the Navy.
I was looking for some larger jets. Not these small eggbeaters. 😳 They are deathtraps, once the engine fails. How many times of incidents on the local news involving small plane crashes.

Skyhawks are an odd-looking jet. In my family, we've got two close friends who are retired Skyhawk pilots.
