    Glad I'm not the only one having a hard time out from Kawakawa haha. Saw the same coloured water at the Kawakawa Bay ramp last month also.. Have no idea what caused it. But went out yesterday, never saw murky/brown water but the fishing was still hard. Ended up doing a full round trip around Waiheke and still couldnt find much, only got a 10kg kingy on a stickbait and a nice sized kahawai on a popper at D'urville. Bugger all besides that, everyone else down the club had a hard also, biggest snapper weighed in was 1.7kg haha

      Atleast you got a good kingi to take home, 10kg is a good size for eating. I had a much better day on the Snapper out west today, but only one kingfish which may of only just gone legal size

    Loving your channel bro. Inspired me to get a ski of my own. It has a lowrance elite-5 chirp installed. Wondering if you would be able to give me the lowdown on the settings you would recommend. Will be fishing similar conditions as you do on the west coast, just a bit further south. Chur.

    awesome video dude. anything that is red in the sea unless it is a snapper or gurnard doesn't sound like a good thing lol

    been fishing on charter boat this Friday between Waiheke Island and Coromandel, and noticed the red spots on the ocean, was very weird :)

      @GCJetskiFishing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it is probably time I caught a kingfish, it has been awhile! The red stuff must be algae don't you think?

    It looks nice to fish off a jet ski! It is small like a kayak but fast like a boat!

    Man we are having serious problems in south Florida.. all our sea creatures being killed by toxic blue/green algae. Also btw I didn’t get a waverunner I wound up with a boat!

    • @GCJetskiFishing
      @GCJetskiFishing  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats no good mate, its hard seeing so many animals being killed like that when there is basically nothing you can do but watch and wait. Thats good to hear, as long as you can now get out on the water is the main thing :) enjoy it

      there are things that could be done. This algae is exploded by the sugar industry in florida. These poor animals! Thankfully there are a lot of us trying to fight back! I will upload a video of my boat soon! I want you to check it out!

      Good luck with that situation, something needs to happen. Looking forward to seeing the boat
