About I Dream of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. Jeannie stopped living in her bottle after she married Tony. You would think that she wouldn't miss something she was trapped in for thousands of years.

I seem to vaguely remember this episode. Wasn't it near the end of the series? I thought Mrs. Bellows was there, too. There was a storm or something coming, so the Bellows stayed overnight with the Nelsons. It seems like Jeannie made the Bellows think that it was all a dream the next morning. I don't remember Jeannie breaking her bottle, but since she had magical powers, couldn't she put it back together again?
She did. Don´t know in the series but in the movies she has it.
Dr Bellows reaction is great and very in character.
After this he gives Jeannie and T&J his blessing, and the heads up to bed. (I love Tony not fighting it and just admitting that he'd rather be married to Jeannie than be an Astronaut)
If this wasnt a deeam, we could have seen Dr. Bellows brought into the fold (after Roger convinces him) and he helps keep her secret. Dr. Bellows hiding her from Mrs Bellows would have been great.
I love the tribute to Barton Mac Lane at 3:35. Who had been apart of the series since the middle of season 1, lastingly appearing in season 4. He sadly passed away midway through season 4’s production, and before his final episodes were aired on tv. So it was nice to see him, even in stock footage.
Since she's married, there's no need to sleep in the bottle.
I hade pajamas when I was 8 that looked like her Jeannie outfit in the legs.

I don’t like this at all!!! Jeannie’s bottle CANNOT be broken forever!!!! It’s too beautiful, and it’s been her home for so long! It is so filled with BEAUTIFUL memories and history… Tony released her from it, and Jeannie loved that moment so much, she even tried to reenact the moment for her anniversary with Tony! You can’t just break the bottle and write off all that history so easily!!!
