Indeed! I am a born again christian and very serious in my walk with God, to the extent that I don't go to church anymore. I know - this is because I couldn't find the appropriate church to join, as noted, they are all joking with God. However, I also know there are serious christians out there, and would like to join them if I am able to find some near where I live. In the meantime, I make it my responsibility to seek God privately - reading the word of God, worship and prayer, and living a life that reflects Christ. This doesn't mean I am perfect and I have ever slipped in my walk. I however made a decision to fully commit, and I was also blessed to have had a strong foundation when I became born again as I was very zealous so I am able to recall the word of God in my daily life. I also listen to some christians online that I feel in agreement with, in the word they preach (reading the bible, not making up things). People have to be careful they don't get mixed up with other religions, as these days people are mixing up different beliefs (New age) and inviting demonic powers into their lives. People in different parts of the world all had ancient religions where they performed all manners of worship and sacrifices and if someone researches very well one will see it's the same thing just different names. The only religion that doesn't have interactions with the demonic world is belief in the God of the Bible - research the hebrew name. I don't know why people find it difficult to believe that the creator of this world would have chosen someone who obeyed and worshipped him (Abraham) through whom the world may be brought back to him. People started diverting to other kinds of worship after the flood (Nimrod) - research and you can see how it all came to be. It could be that just as the serpent(devil) lied to Eve he could have done the same to others afterwards. People should also be careful about Yoga (research on Hinduism and see how all the things involved are in worship to the Hindu gods, and there is a chance of encountering demons in the process and getting in depression, etc while thinking one is seeking peace). I recommend a channel - Little light studios, very educative in such things. Otherwise, always enjoy your chats!
