At first listen not gonna lie I was not feeling this song but after watching a bunch of reviews it's really grown on me. The beginning rap is off tempo and it threw me off to start but I like it now. The chorus is really good with the balla balla part! The choreo is insane the dance practice blew me away! They are beautiful talented girls who worked so hard so I really hope that this doesn't turn people away from them. The mv is really awesome visually! Studio choom always has such great production with the lights and camera movement can't wait for you to get int other groups and see more studio choom stuff bc its always so good!

This is the best new girl group in terms of vocals by far... I really recommend you looking at their "love me like this" stage practice and their live cover of "hey mama" and you'll get what I'm talking about... there's SO MANY more videos of them performing and they are by far the best live vocals in this era

Ever since NMIXX debuted, they've been hit with alleged plagiarism accusations (ripping off ATEEZ, ENHYPHEN, LOONA, etc.). JYP is one of the biggest Kpop labels out there so it's even more disappointing that it's them doing it (I know SM has also been slammed for this when aespa debuted). People also find it polarizing to see a Coca Cola sponsorship both in the music video and track (they're in the lyrics too) in a group's DEBUT song. It's entirely possible that this whole thing has been purposefully done by JYP to generate hype (it's for negative reasons but still hype nonetheless) and while it's a great business move, I'm afraid it will put the group on a negative pedastal and this will be people's everlasting impression of them, which is a shame because the girls are actually really talented. I just hope JYP tones down a bit the chaotic-ness of their future tracks.
yup. not a good start for their debut. It's a bit reassuring though that the Korean public aren't just robots who will listen to anything even if the music is trash just because the artists are from a huge company because "O.O" isn't doing so well in the Korean music charts.

It's something different and new, so it might be hard to adjust to, but I found it so refreshing between all the other debut songs that came out this year. Don't be afraid to say you don't like it lol 😅 Actually I'd say 80% of people didn't like the song. We all love the music video visuals and the girls are talented but the song is so disjointed and all over the place. Our expectations were already huge because they're JYP's latest girl group (JYP Entertainment is ITZY & TWICE's label too) but this didn't really hit the mark. Some people dub it the worst debut in recent Kpop (yep "0.0" is NMIXX's debut song) but it's definitely NOT. It's not really all that great but I wouldn't say it's the worst period. The song is titled "O.O" because it's the face they want us to make whenever we listen/watch the song/video (a surprised face)..and they really succeeded in that 😅 Their concept is in their name "NMIXX" meaning mixing other different concepts.. and while it seems great on paper, the way JYP chose to do it this time is pretty wonky. The song DOES grow on you though and I hope their future releases would be WAYYY better (the members are talented). Some people even speculate JYP chose their debut to be this polarizing to generate a huge buzz, and they succeeded 😅 It's a huge risk though but NMIXX is only a few days old so we'll just see what kind of group they become in the near future.
@@keabetswemolise6316 aespa's Next Level was definitely a shock and felt disjointed at times but at least there's still some semblance of coherence in the song and the payoff ended up being worth it (still not my fave song but I can understand why it blew up). JYP attempted to do this but on overdrive. There's a limit on how you can stretch disjointedness in the song before it becomes just a medley or just noise music. O.O ended up becoming both. While it's nice to see there ARE people who liked it at first listen, I don't think it's right that those people are dismissive of the criticism.

Don't be afraid to say you don't like it lol 😅 Actually I'd say 80% of people didn't like the song. We all love the music video visuals and the girls are talented but the song is so disjointed and all over the place. Our expectations were already huge because they're JYP's latest girl group (JYP Entertainment is ITZY & TWICE's label too) but this didn't really hit the mark.
Some people dub it the worst debut in recent Kpop (yep "0.0" is NMIXX's debut song) but it's definitely NOT. It's not really all that great but I wouldn't say it's the worst period.
The song is titled "O.O" because it's the face they want us to make whenever we listen/watch the song/video (a surprised face)..and they really succeeded in that 😅 Their concept is in their name "NMIXX" meaning mixing other different concepts.. and while it seems great on paper, the way JYP chose to do it this time is pretty wonky. The song DOES grow on you though and I hope their future releases would be WAYYY better (the members are talented). Some people even speculate JYP chose their debut to be this polarizing to generate a huge buzz, and they succeeded 😅
It's a huge risk though but NMIXX is only a few days old so we'll just see what kind of group they become in the near future.
I agree JYP is trying too hard to copy aespa's success. I hope their future releases get better because they are very talented.

@@keabetswemolise6316 aespa's Next Level was definitely a shock and felt disjointed at times but at least there's still some semblance of coherence in the song and the payoff ended up being worth it (still not my fave song but I can understand why it blew up).
JYP attempted to do this but on overdrive. There's a limit on how you can stretch disjointedness in the song before it becomes just a medley or just noise music. O.O ended up becoming both. While it's nice to see there ARE people who liked it at first listen, I don't think it's right that those people are dismissive of the criticism.
