Love this figure! It could also work as a Kingdom of the cristal skull figure🎉
Exactly. The sculpt for this figure isn't that far different from a Crystal Skull Indy, and it wouldn't make sense to have different figures for each of the later movies - at best, perhaps a shirt-only Indy from the Warehouse escape at the beginning of Crystal Skull...
@@thestarkknightreturns they are doing a streets of Cairo Indy that comes with the monkey! Easy head swap and you got your warehouse Indy from Kotcs !
@@RageONTv Yup but it annoys me that the shirt of the Cairo Indy figure is only partially tucked in his trousers! That represents a very specific shot from the movie, he doesn't look like that when he's in Cairo!
They've come a long way since the figures I had in 1984 from Temple.
I was too old to play with my action figures by then, so I don't remember any of the original Indy toys. Which company made them?

I had the first Indy toys which were from butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid just repurposed. The quick draw sucked and the thumbs always broke off.
Here, for the whip holder just loop it over the belt. Might need to leverage it a bit with a toothpick. it will look nice and the peg will secure it from unfolding when under the belt. I'll pick up old Indiana and pretend he's from the Crystal Skull which, while not my favorite, i really didn't mind and see as bad as they paint it.
I was honestly thinking thisll be a nice Crystal Skull fill in….but man imagine a CS wave with a BAF Crystal Alien 🫣

These look awesome. I've preordered one of each from this wave but I might get one or two more Temple of Doom Indys and Shortys
I missed out on the first wave of figures because I didn't oreder enough for my store. Not gonna make that mistake again ^^
As per usual, the figure sculpt looks different from the one on the box but unlike their first try this Dial of Destiny version looks way better. They also fixed the whip problem which is greatly appreciated. Here's hoping they keep improving their Indy sculpt.
I'm looking forward to the 3rd wave already, really want to see Sean Connery as a 6 inch figure ^^
Ok also Hasbro has really impressed me with their dial of destiny figure they massively improved the coiled whip on his hip then one the other one hopefully they use this dor future indy figures.
The reason why temple of doom indy don't have a trigger figure is that version never used/had the gun he lost it during the beginning at club obi wan.
ok that explains the trigger finger, I should re-visit that movie.
These figs are great. I know you said you sold your original set of adventure series, so are you planning on selling these?
My only issue with this figure is that you can't swap out the hands: they aren't the same fit at the other line...
The first three movies were some of the best, last Crusade's ending was perfect. Believe it or not but at 80 I think he's a bit too old now
How old was Sean Connery back then in 1989, he must have been getting pretty old himself! Harrison looks good for 80 though, strong guy!
It’s disappointing that they took his gun away and put his satchel there in its place. Plus if you have valuable stuff in your satchel you would wear it inside your coat so nobody can steal it.
Just a quick thing about the video title, it says Black Series but it's Adventure Series :)

Ohhhh yeah. Dial of Destiny Indy is the nicest Indiana Jones figure I have so far from the Adventure Line. I'll be getting Wave 2 in store this Thursday so I can check out the others too.

I have the Raiders and Temple of Doom Indiana Jones figures. The coiled whip and tiny bag accessories are disappointing for those. They look and are scaled like the ones that came with the 2008 4" figures. At least the Dial of Destiny figure's bag and whip is better scaled and coloured. I am going to order one.

How interesting! How did you manage to get the "Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny" Indy? And the "Temple of Doom" one? In Continental Europe they're nowhere to be found until at least next Early September ...
I often get items early becuase that's my job, I'm a retailer. 👍 However they are not permitted for sale until Hasbro gives the official word.

Wrong on two ends here.
1. In KOTCS, Indy never shoots a gun once in that film. Something about heroes not needing to use guns or something. (Spielberg made this decision, not anyone else.)
2. Indy does use a gun in this film, I believe it’s twice.

Toxic feminism and wokeness ruin this movie. Reviews give a bleak picture of a weak and feeble old man being controlled by a woman. A whole movie dedicated to girl power and wokeness. Disney has managed to ruin with their business model by race swapping iconic characters such as spiderman, star wars and many others. Many of the new characters are based on race and gender politics therefore many collectors have lost interest.
I'm gonna reserve judgement until I have seen the film. Too much gossip surrounding Lucasfilm right now, especially with Star Wars and Indy. Let's give it the benefit of the doubt, and once we have watched it we can do a full discussion here.

When did they race swap Spider-Man,. surely your not talking about Miles Morales who’s been in the marvel universe for quite a while not to mention that into the spider verse has nothing to do with Disney and is completely a Sony product.
