As a muslim, I would like to thank Rabbi Tovia for being intellectually honest. It’s rare nowadays to find someone from a different religion to accurately represent Islam. One, little comment I have is that in our traditions we do think Jesus is related to the house of David PBUT from his mother’s father side (from Imran’s ancestry). You accurately represented that from his mother’s mother side, he is a Kohanim ( where he gets his relation to Yahya his cousin ) as mentioned and alluded in Quran 3:35, Quran 19:28 and Quran 5:78. Little deep, but worth to investigate. Thanks & God bless🙌🏼✅
But, we have no texts to support that ancestry [which could've been purely political]; the Quran clearly emphasizes the grouping of Jesus with John the Baptist and Zechariah [Priestly class], and did not associate him with Solomon and David. Edit: The idea that Mary was of the House of David is a later theological development by Christian scholars [Irenaeus]. I welcome any constructive arguments against these findings!
@ Also look up Quran 5:78, God used an interesting expression ''by the tongue of David and Jesus son of Mary''. Therefore, with the sources presented, the only possible way to say that Jesus was related to a priestly family would be through his mother's mother side (where he's connected to Yahya son of Zakaria, his cousin).
@ Interesting, but still not definitive proof. To me I still find that idea exotic to Islam, or not a focal point to be conveyed [it could've easily been pointed out that he was the awaited David]. But instead, he was distanced away in sura ص والنمل from David and Solomon. In my brain it's still
@@mezo5951 1. John the Baptist and Zechariah are mentioned because they lived in the time of Jesus. 2. Solomon and David did not live in the time of Jesus. 3. All tribes including the priestly tribe are inherited only through your biological father meaning Jesus inherited no tribe. 4. The word messiah meaning anointed for Jesus is a name that foretells the event described in Gospel of Matthew 26:7 where a woman poured perfume on the head of Jesus meaning in the Gospel, Jesus is not anointed as the messiah who descended from the house of the messiah king David through the messiah king Solomon as foretold in the Tanakh Jewish scripture because Jesus had no biological father which is the only way a person can inherit the House of David meaning Jesus is not the messiah who is described in Tanakh Jewish scripture.
I prayed with Muslims today. Call to prayer in a mosque. It’s hard to describe but G-d gripped me gently and it just happened. I went in not knowing what to do and the call happened and I followed everyone else. Prophecy fulfilled! 😊
@muslimcerdaspembelayesus5854 the rabbi must of read the Koran. It is full of scientific miracles. Did you know Mohammed split the moon in half and rejoined it while everyone was asleep. AMASING.
@adamaourara2942 well you must be talking about Jesus. Because he is the only one that was crucified and was then seen 3 days later by over 500 witnesses.
This is the reason why Judaism and Islam blend flawlessly together to the extent that they can even pray together on the same place. Assalamu alaykum Raabi Tovia, please keep on spreading lights and wisdom, your success are included in our prayers. Thank you so much... As a Muslim, when I say that Jesus is a "messiah" it simply means an annointed by God to preach. Islamic "messiah" does not in any way means the same as Christian messiah. For Christian the word messiah means an offspring of Gd, or Gd himself who became flesh and offered himself as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin. But, for Islam its not... Islamic messiah is very similar to hebrew mashiach simply means annointed
@@mastertao1179 almost all of the learned Jews talk such way about ISLAM. As Muslim, we understood their views about some specifics. When I say "Jews and Islam blend flawlessly is that the fact that mutual respect on both sides are strong. They can pray on the same roof with no any problem. But do you know consider it sinful merely looking on a christian church? We Muslim had no problem eating Jewish food for we know Jewish dont eat pork as well.
Todah Rabah Rabbi Tovia Singer for all you do! I am so blessed to have you in my life! We are all so blessed to have you! I ❤ listening and learning from you! This is so great! Wow!
Definitely. A divine being is a host of counterfeit devilish idol gods designed by Enoch, the son of Cain, who took it to the east and used by Hindus and Zoroastrians. there is a direct link to the jealousy of the fallen angels when god created man where they relentlessly try to turn man away from worshiping the only real god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Their goal is to destroy the human race by diminishing the self worth bestowed onto man when god created man in his image. The bible is full of their machinations, in the garden of eden, cain vs abel, tower of babel, sodom and gomorrah, they even got king david, and the Israelites via bilal and in modern times with societies on campuses influencing the population with false science promoted by main stream and social media. Jesus never promoted any of this and in fact teaches us how to rebuke the devil when he said Satan get away from me. This comes in useful for those who believe in the teachings of Jesus. One night I was asleep, and i was awaken by a choking feeling and open my eyes and saw a devil holding me down. As i was to breath my last breath, i got up and shrugged it off, pointed at it and commanded it to get away from me and it fled. thank you lord. Jesus is NOT divine because divination is explicitly forbidden in the Torah.
@@Jock-kp4kgand Moses parted the Red Sea…what’s your point? I feel like this man is my uncle or my cousin, a wise man who is honest about Islam. He fights against the idolaters in the way of all our beloved Prophets, peace be upon them. May Allah's mercy and grace be upon this Rabbi.
1. Son means servant. Deuteronomy 14:1 You are the children of the LORD your Allah. 2. Son means servant. Exodus 4:22 And you (Moses) shall say to Pharaoh Firon, The Lord (Allah) says, “Israel is My son, My first born.” (Meaning, Israel is Allah’s servant because they believe in Allah). Exodus 4:23 And I (Allah) have said to you (Pharaoh), “Let My son (meaning My servant) go so that he may serve Me (Allah) and you (Pharaoh) have refused to let him go …” 3. 1. God forbids idol worship. 2. Praying to any creation is called idol worship. 3. God is the creator of every creation. 4. Praying to saints or Mary or Jesus who are creations instead of praying only to God who is the creator is idol worship in Judaism and Islam and in some Christian sects. 5. Jews and Muslims love Christians by explaining that the messiah in Tanakh is a human biological descendant of the messiah king David through the messiah king Solomon meaning the messiah is not God and not a Trinity with God. 6. Jews and Muslims love Christians by explaining that the messiah in the Quran is a human who did not descend from the messiah king David because a person who has no biological father inherits no tribe in Judaism. 7. Jews and Muslims love Christians by explaining that in Gospel of John 20:17 Jesus said he did not die on the cross meaning no one sacrificed him and he explains that he is a human and he is not God. 8. Jews and Muslims love Christians by explaining that not all Christians believe that Jesus is God or that Jesus is a Trinity with God.

Mary is given the name of a righteous person who lived before her in the same way as her father was given the name of a righteous person who lived before him. The Jewish tradition is to name children with the name of a righteous person from the past. After the time of Amram Imran who was the father of Aaron and Moses and Miriam 3200 years ago other people named their children Amram Imran for example a son of Bani was named Amram Imran. . Ezra 10:34 Of the sons of Bani: Maadai, Amram, and Uel. . Believing in any person outside of yourself, whether it is a person called Jesus, a prophet, any messiah is putting the 2nd commandment into conflict. If one is to to have "no other gods (creators) before me, and you shall not make onto me any graven images" then where is the creator situated if it is not your own imagination or consciousness? The womb of creation, your imagination, cannot be named as it is what gives birth to the names. It is sacred as what ever you decree, so it is done and god (the creator, your imagination) is not mocked. It appears that everyone may be speaking of external things, historical events, people but scripture pertains to consciousness and not form.
@@ecomandurban7183 I'll make it simple and to the point. You are God, masquerading as a human. In the beginning you created all of this, created a form, a body, animated it and then believed yourself to be the character. You fell into ignorance and forgot who you really are. In that forgetting, you have perceived creation or god to be outside of yourself. Therefore you cannot believe "in" GOD, one must believe as GOD and then what we see in this world will change for the better. You/me we all are collectively god (the creators). Thought is creation. The world we see is mans conditioned consciousness objectified. God is the unconditioned one, within you. I hope that makes sense?
I have Muslim friends and they tell me that Christianity and Islam are very similar and that we are like “cousins” because of this similarity. They also say that the Quran has never been changed or tampered with in the way the Christian Bible has, and how it’s been around way longer.
We are more like cousins with Judaism, going all the way back to Ismail and Isaac. Christianity is sometimes a close friend, perhaps a second cousin. However, Christianity today is in an identity crisis.
You chose your words very carefully,I must admit. Muslims believe Jesus was miraculously born of a virgin, raised to heaven, prophet of God, performed miracles and will return to defeat the false messiah, al-Masih ad-Dajjal. The Quran also states in 3:45," And when the angels said: 'O Mary! Allah gives you the glad tidings of a command from Him: his name shall be Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary. He shall be highly honoured in this world and in the Next, and shall be one of those near stationed to Allah". Sounds like he(Jesus) is highly regarded ?
I always love listening to your talks. I even used to listen to your radio show 20-21 years ago, and completely forgot about it until your videos started showing up in my feed. I think the 'Isa of the Qur'an is partly based on the Jesus of the Christian Bible, but some other sources. I'll have to look for it, but I have a bunch of papers from a seminar I attended 20 years ago. There were quotes from some early Christian sources that said Jesus was a prophet, but not God Himself. There is also the fact that Arab or Arabic speaking Christians refer to Jesus as "Yessou", while Muslims call him "'Isa". Muhammad and Muslims were well aware of Christianity and knew what they called Jesus. So it can't have been an "accident" or that he "got the word wrong", which leads me to believe that this was intentional.
In the Gospel and Quran Jesus is not God. Gospel of Luke 24:19 And he said to them, "What things?" And they said to him, "The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet powerful in deed and in word, in the eyes of both God and all the people; Quran 19:30 Koran 19:30 He (Jesus) said, “I am the servant of God. He (God) has given me the Scripture and has made me a Prophet.”
Allah the almighty said : [It is not appropriate for someone who Allah has blessed with the Scripture, wisdom, and prophethood to say to people, “Worship me instead of Allah.” Rather, he would say, “Be devoted to the worship of your Lord ˹alone˺-by virtue of what you read in the Scripture and what you teach.”] Quran 3 : 79 And Allah The almighty said : [And he would never ask you to take angels and prophets as lords. Would he ask you to disbelieve after you have submitted? ] Quran 3 : 80 Taking the prophets and angels as lords is apostasy and disbelieve and Christians should repent
The thing about Quran 4:157, as mentioned by the Rabbi, it appaeared as if God was reprimanding the Jews in the verse, but actually, it was a strong backhanded slap to the Christians.
yeah i had two muslim friends in college that shut me down and never saw me the same since, so dont ever do that. i was shocked. however much of this stuff has to do with the passion and how to be saved. yes we know, be repentant and ask god for forgiveness and bingo. that would be so easy is one knew what to be repentant of. i am sure the answer is in the book of job, but then one would have to parse that. after 5000 years of tradition it would be great if the word of god contained therein could be presented in a way easy to digest for the seekers
For a scholarly person who knows quite a bit about cross Abrahamic faths he deliberately hides the fact stated in Quran as well that Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him and his mother ). Came with a Shari'a to make Kosher again some of what was forbidden upon Jews earlier and yes to keep the rest of Torah Quran (3:50) "And I have come to confirm the truth of whatever there still remains of the Torah, and to make lawful to you some of the things which had been" forbidden ...
Every prophet after Moses Musa confirmed the Torah Taurat which the Hebrew people must follow forever by observing the Sabbath Day forever. Quran 3:93 Verse 3:93 Before the Torah Taurat was revealed all food (eaten by Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel made unlawful for himself (which was the eating of the sinew of the thigh that is on the hip socket as a remembrance of the day he struggled with an angel of Allah and was injured on his thigh and was given the name Israel). Say (Prophet Muhammad, to the Jews of Yathrib), "Bring the Torah Taurat here and recite it (to me as evidence) if what you say (when you say that what Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel made unlawful for himself had always been forbidden by Allah) is true (meaning show proof in the Torah Taurat that Allah forbids eating the sinew of the thigh that is on the hip socket before the time when Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel made it unlawful for himself in other words Prophet Muhammad is explaining why Allah has not prohibited this food for the Muslims)." . Torah Taurat Genesis 32:33 So the children of Israel do not eat the sinew of the thigh-vein which is on the hollow of the thigh to this day because he (the angel of Allah) touched the hollow of Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel's thigh, in the sinew of the thigh-vein. Note 1. Some food was made forbidden by tradition and not by the Torah law. . Quran 3:50 Koran 3:50 And I (Prophet Jesus Isa) have come to confirm the Law (the Torah Taurat) which came before me, and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you (by yourselves by tradition and not by the Torah law), and I (Prophet Jesus Isa) have come to you with a sign (to prove that I am a prophet) from your Lord (Allah). So fear Allah and obey me. Note 1. Prophet Jesus Isa did not add or subtract from the commandments Allah gave in the Torah Taurat to the Jewish people.
The Torah Taurat says do not add or subtract from the Torah Taurat meaning you can know who is a false prophet like Paul who is claiming the Torah is outdated and will soon disappear and who is a true prophet like Jesus who said the Torah Taurat must be observed and will never change which confirms the commandments in the Torah and confirms Paul is a false prophet. Prophet Muhammad revealed that Jews who abandoned the Sabbath are acting like animals and that they will be judged on their observance of the Sabbath which is a covenant between Allah and the Hebrews forever in the Torah Taurat meaning Prophet Muhammad is a true prophet because every prophet before him also reminded the Hebrews to observe the Torah as the Torah has commanded them to observe it in every generation.
Allah promised to preserve the Torah by commanding it be followed for 100,000 years and commanding Jews to observe the Sabbath Day forever in every generation. Allah says those who follow the Torah for 100,000 years love Allah. Torah Deuteronomy 5:10 And showing mercy to the thousandth generation of them that love Me (Allah) and keep My (Allah’s) commandments. Note 1. Allah promises to protect the Torah for every Jewish generation by commanding the Jewish people to keep following the Torah for 100,000 years in Torah Deuteronomy 5:10. This commandment of Allah says to the children of Israel that those that love Allah shall keep these commandments to the thousandth generation. If humans lived for 100 years then the thousandth generation of humans would be in 100,000 years. . Deuteronomy 29:28 (or Deuteronomy 29:29 in a Christian Bible) The secret things (which are not revealed) belong to the LORD our Allah; but the things that are revealed (in the Torah) belong to us and to our children for ever (for all time), so that we may do all the words of this law (Torah). Note 1. The Torah Taurat has been given to the children of Israel as their covenant agreement with Allah to follow forever. . Torah Deuteronomy 13:1 (in Jewish Tanakh or Deuteronomy 12:32 in a Christian Bible) All this word which I (Allah) command you, to do and to observe; you shall not add to it nor subtract from it. Note 1. Allah forbids anyone from adding or subtracting from the Torah Taurat meaning anyone who does this is a false prophet and this is explained by all the prophets below.
Quran 2:62 Koran 2:62 (In the hereafter) truly those (Muslims) who believed and those who are Jews, Christians and Sabians, whoever believed in God and the Last Day (The Day of Resurrection) and did good deeds, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and they shall not fear or grieve. Quran 3:85 Koran 3:85 And whoever seeks a religion other than submission (to God which includes every human from the beginning of time until the end of time, for example stone idol worship) it shall not be accepted by Him (God) in the Hereafter and (such a person) shall be one of the losers (in the hereafter. The word Islam has two meanings, the general meaning is submission in Quran 3:85 meaning anyone who submits to God). Note 1. The Muslim religion Islam is the religion of submission to God (Quran 3:64). Note 2. The Jewish religion Judaism is the religion of submission to God (Quran 3:64). Note 3. The Christian religion Christianity is the religion of submission to God (Quran 3:64). Note 4. Islam means submission and the Quran tells the Jews to observe the Sabbath Day meaning all Jews who observe the Sabbath Day are submitting to God which means the word in Quran 3:85 is submission otherwise it would contradict other verses in the Quran and the Quran says it has no contradictions. This means only one word "submission" is correct because it is the word with which there are no contradictions in the Quran. . Quran 3:64 Koran 3:64 Say, “O People of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians) let us come to an agreement between you and us (Muslims), that we shall worship no one but God, and that we shall ascribe no partner to Him (meaning, there is only one God, we pray only to our creator the one God and no one else, not to sons, not to saints, not to any idol), and that none of us shall take others for Lords instead of God.” And if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted to Him (God).” Note 1. God does not require humans to all be in one religion (Quran 5:48). Note 2. God does require that every religion worship only God (Quran 3:85). Note 3. God says if the Jews and the Christians and others worship only God like the Muslims worship only God then the Jews and the Christians and others are correctly guided by God (Quran 3:64). . Quran 5:48 Koran 5:48 “... For each (community of Jews, Christians and Muslims) We (God) have appointed a divine law and a way (of religion). If God willed He (God) could have made you (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) one community. But He (God) tests you (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) by what He (God) has given you (in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran to show who is best in behaviour). So strive for all that is good. To God you shall all return and He (God) shall then inform you (in the Hereafter) about (the correctness of) the religious matters in which you (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) argue among each other. Note 1. God does not require humans to all be in one religion (Quran 5:48). . Note 2. God does require that every religion worship only God (Quran 3:85). Note 3. God says if the Jews and the Christians and others worship only God like the Muslims worship only God then the Jews and the Christians and others are correctly guided by God (Quran 3:64). Note 4. God commands the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims to do what is good according to what God has given them in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran to show which humans are the best in behaviour. Note 5. God says that on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement in the hereafter every human will return to God and God shall inform them about the religious matters about which they argued. Note 6. God protects the Torah Taurat for every Jewish generation until the Day of Judgement (Quran 5:48). Note 7. God protects the Gospel Injil for every Christian generation until the Day of Judgement (Quran 5:48) in the following way. Quran 5:68 says observe the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and Quran 5:47 tells Christians to judge by the Gospel Injil meaning whatever in the Gospel Injil is confirmed in the Jewish Torah Taurat came from Prophet Jesus Isa and whatever contradicts the Jewish Torah Taurat came from Mark, Matthew, Luke and John. Note 8. God protects the Koran Quran for every Muslim generation until the Day of Judgement (Quran 5:48). Note 9. Entry to Paradise the Garden of Eden the Garden of Righteousness Jannah is not based on the question of Sunni or Shia or Muslim or Jew or Christian but it is based on your good behaviour towards all humans and creatures in this world and your relationship with God (Quran 5:48). Note 10. In the sight of humans Judaism and Christianity and Sabians and Islam are different religions. Note 11. In the sight of God Judaism and Christianity and Sabians and Islam are “different communities of God” because they were all created by God for only one reason which is “to submit to God.”
The core foundational belief in Judaism is: "Hear O Israel, the Lord your God is One" which is somewhat similar in Islam "La Ilaha il Allah". The Christians interpret the "Shema" as One God yet Triune.

His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. - Quran 2:255
Rabbi, I'm really happy that you explained the Quranic view so lucidly and accurately, except for one thing at the end, which some Muslims say in spite of the Quran. That Jesus would return sometime in future is NONEXISTENT in the Quran. Such a notion is based on some fabricated hadith which echoes the Pauline creed, as a matter of fact. The Prophet never said that and it's not to be found in the earliest narrations. Later, prbly, some crafty Christians or converts injected this sinful notion into the Islamic discourse and it persists in most circles, unfortunately. I'm a Muslim and I don't believe in this nonsense simply because I don't find this in the Quran. Next, we dont find anywhere in the Quran the term “Virgin Mary” (Maryam al-adhraa’) though how she conceived isn’t specified. Almost exact words referred by the Muslims routinely to prove the virgin birth have also been used in the case of Zachariah’s wife and Abraham’ wife but their conceiving is not taken to be a result of the divine intervention. That he ascended into heaven isn’t found in the Quran which only says that God raised him unto Himself. Just before this, the Quran explicitly mentions his death. انی متوفیک و رافعک الی Obviously, the Muslims were prevailed upon by the Pauline creed somewhere. Yes, Jesus is a holy Messenger but only for the Israelites. He is a Messiah in the ordinary sense of being annointed to serve as a priest, like several others were. He didn’t bring a new shariah at all but asked the Israelites to return to observing the Torah in letter and spirit, according to the Quran. Lastly, FOR SURE, there is no empty grave beside the Prophet’s grave. Muslims say all sorts of things but they have no worth until and unless endorsed by the Quran. I’m sorry for this long comment.
a fourth tomb is reserved for Jesus in the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. is that false?? Muslims believe that Jesus will return and be buried in this tomb
Lol why you saying she's not a virgin? Seems like you never read the Surah Maryam before, since that clearly states that no man has touched her, and so she asks how can she have a baby? And the answer is, it's easy for God And for the birth of Yahya, her uncle Zacharyah asked how can he have a baby if his wife is old and barren, the answer was the same, it's easy for God.
So you're wrong to say how she conceived isn't specified. It says it's by the word of God and Jesus was therefore a word of God, as was Adam, both conceived without a father.
As for not ascending to heaven, well then I wonder what else you think means "God raised him to himself"? Lool And as for mutawaffeek, does it really mean his death? Or is there another word used for death? Literally, it is the same word that the Qur'an uses to say a person's soul goes to God every night and God sends it back, until he doesn't. Does this mean people "die" every night? Or could it perhaps mean something else?
Allah The almighty said : [Indeed, those who say, “Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary,” have fallen into disbelief. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Who has the power to prevent Allah if He chose to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, his mother, and everyone in the world all together?” To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in between. He creates whatever He wills. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.] Quran 5 : 17 Allah The almighty said : [Those who say, “Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary,” have certainly fallen into disbelief. The Messiah ˹himself˺ said, “O Children of Israel! Worship Allah-my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever associates others with Allah ˹in worship˺ will surely be forbidden Paradise by Allah. Their home will be the Fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers.] Quran 5 : 72 Allah The almighty said: [ Those who say, “Allah is one in a Trinity,” have certainly fallen into disbelief. It was such a great talk from a respectful Rabbi. Just consider the statement that " Jesus AKA ISAA his grave is next to Mohammed ", this is a not accepted hadith, and it is rejected. Saying the previous doesn't mean some people don't believe in it, especially since you stated that several times in your videos over the past years whenever that topic is opened. Aside of that indeed, ISAA the Massiah was the word of god, his creation is similar to Adam, GOD said be and he was.
Genesis 17-29 as for Ishmael I have heard you I will surely bless him and make him fruitful he shall be the father of twelve princes and I will make him into a great nation the awaited Shiloh descends from Muslims through Abraham
5:22 modern scholars disagree. The return of Issa is not found in Quran. In fact God says that every religion will love on and people will not agree until the end of times.

Quran 28:49 Koran 28:49 Say (Prophet Muhammad to the stone idol worshippers of Makkah Arabia), “Then bring a Book from Allah that gives better guidance than these two (the Torah Taurat and the Quran) so that I (Prophet Muhammad) may follow it, if you are telling the truth.” Note 1. The best guidance is the Quran and the Torah Taurat meaning both are correctly understood when they confirm and explain each other.
@@samvoron1727 According to a saheeh hadeeth: “By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, there is no one among this ummah, *Jew or Christian* , who hears of me *(islam & muhammad saw)* than dies without believing in that with which I have been sent, but he will be one of the people of Hellfire.” (Reported by Muslim, 218)
@@Amilove-v2u Gentiles are obligated to fulfill the Seven Noahide Commandments because they are the eternal command of God, transmitted through Moses our teacher in the Torah.
@@Amilove-v2u The Torah Taurat says do not add or subtract from the Torah Taurat meaning you can know who is a false prophet like Paul who is claiming the Torah is outdated and will soon disappear and who is a true prophet like Jesus who said the Torah Taurat must be observed and will never change which confirms the commandments in the Torah and confirms Paul is a false prophet. Prophet Muhammad revealed that Jews who abandoned the Sabbath are acting like animals and that they will be judged on their observance of the Sabbath which is a covenant between Allah and the Hebrews forever in the Torah Taurat meaning Prophet Muhammad is a true prophet because every prophet before him also reminded the Hebrews to observe the Torah as the Torah has commanded them to observe it in every generation in Quran 2:40-41.
1-Jesus, peace be upon him, did not bring a new law. Rather, he was following the law of Moses, peace be upon him, in order to bring back the children of Israel who had strayed from it and had not preserved it, and to clarify some of what they differed about. He also made permissible for them some of what was forbidden to them as a punishment(By God’s will, of course, because the prophets are obedient to God in everything He commands, and the Messenger only has to deliver the message), and not what was forbidden because it's origin is impure, as a concession from God Almighty. He also teaches them the Gospel, which confirms what came before it in the Torah, in which is guidance and light. 2-We Muslims believe that there are remnants of divine revelation in the books of the People of the Book, such as the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel. As for what contradicts an explicit text from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, we reject it. Other than that, we do not believe it or deny it. Rather, we believe in what God has revealed to us and the People of the Book.
If we do a little research about the early Jesus movement, and we compare it to the sources of early Islam, we can see that Islam grew from the Jewish followers of Jesus the Ebionites, the followers of James. They believe that Paul was a heretic. They believe that Jesus did not accomplish what he was supposed to do, and that Muhammad accomplished what Jesus could not do.
What is Rabbis point with Jesus being from the household of David or not? In Islam it does not matter, at least it is not something our God points to as important.
First Iblis the one everybody is waiting for comes to our cozy little planet “ earth” The Ahriman incarnate . Then we shall wait for the Messiah because by that stage we all will really need him to hurry up
The horse is starving while the grass is growing. No need to wait. Just reject the demons if they try to tempt you and make sure you seek the almighty for guidance and he will. he said so himself and the messiah will surely approve

To believe or to have knowledge(true)are so diferent and separate two things..people can believe in anything, but to have a true knowledge(G_ds),who have that? Can someone tell..🤔
If Jesus came back tomorrow, he’d think the Muslims are his followers. Each man keeps a beard (like Jesus), each woman wears a scarf (like his mother Mary). What do Christians wear? That’s right, the very thing that killed him. He’ll think the Christians are the romans and denounce them.
That's a big IF. I can believe 1+1=5 but no matter how much i believe it, it wouldn't make it a fact. The true messiah will be a matter of fact; no belief needed.
@@Big-S-Yaya how is that,Jesus didn't wear a sword around his neck,Jesus didn't ask anyone to pay Jeziah or die .Jesus did not take anything from anyone for himself. The Holy Spirit in Rabbinic Tradition Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (Ruach Elohim was hovering upon the face of the waters.) The Spirit of God created the formless earth. ‘And the spirit of God hovered over the face of the water’ (Gen 1:2) - this is the spirit of King Messiah, as it is written, ‘And the spirit of the Lord will rest upon him.’ (Is 11:2).” (Gen Rab. 2:4) According to Reish Lakish, as it is written: “The spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water” (Genesis 1:2), this is the spirit of the messianic king. If a person merits, they say to him: ‘You preceded the entire act of Creation.’ If not, they say to him: ‘The gnat preceded you, the worm preceded you.’ Rabbi Yishmael ben Rabbi Tanḥum said: “Back,” after all the creations, “front,” before all the punishments. (Midrash Vayikra Rabbah 14:1) The Rabbis used a metaphorical imagery to describe the spirit that hovered over the face of the waters as the “King Messiah”. Ba’al HaTurim commentary on Genesis 1:2 “And the spirit of God was hovering: has a numerical equivalent (gematria) of ‘this is the spirit of messiah.’ Rashi interprets Spirit of G-d to be exclusively the “Throne” For Genesis 1:2 Rashi Comments AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD WAS HOVERING - The throne of Divine Glory was standing in space, hovering over the face of the waters by the breath of the mouth of the Holy One, blessed be He, and by His command, even as a dove hovers over its nest. In old French acoveter. According to Rashi the Throne of Divine Glory(anthropomorphic throne) Created the formless Earth…. Whatever that means. So, who formed the formless Earth on the sixth day was it Hashem, the anthropomorphic spirit of King Messiah, the Throne or the holy spirit? In rabbinic Judaism God’s Spirit is his very own Presence, his Shekhinah that fills the entire earth: “More often it is employed to describe the endowment of a person with special gifts. Prophecy, in the sense of the ability to interpret the will of God, is the effect of which the Holy Spirit is the cause. Its possession also endows one with foreknowledge.” (Abraham Cohen, Everyman’s Talmud, [Schoken Books, New York], Chapter II. God And The Universe, II. Transcendence And Immanence, p. 45; Cohen goes on to explain what the Shekhinah is in Jewish thought: “What, in Rabbinic teaching, is God’s relation to the world? Is He thought of as transcendent and far removed from His creatures, or is He considered as being near to, and in contact with, them? The true answer is to be found in a combination of both ideas. The Rabbis did not look upon the two conceptions as contradictory or mutually exclusive, but rather as complementary. “When they reflected upon the ineffable Majesty of the Creator, His absolute perfection and boundless might, they reverentially spoke of Him as a Being immeasurably removed from the limitations of the finite world. But they, at the same time, realized that such a transcendent God was of little use to the human being who was grappling with the problems of life and yearned for communion with a Helper and Comforter and Guide amidst his perplexities and struggles. They, accordingly, stressed the doctrine that God was immanent in the world, and was very near to all who call upon Him in sincerity. “‘A heretic said to R. Gamaliel: “You Rabbis declare that wherever ten people assemble for worship the Shechinah abides amongst them; how many Shechinahs are there then?” He called the heretic’s servant and struck him with a ladle. “Why did you strike him?” he was asked, and he replied, “Because the sun is in the house of the infidel.” “But the sun shines all over the world!” exclaimed the heretic; and the Rabbi retorted: “If the sun, which is only one out of a million myriads of God’s servants, can be in every part of the world, how much more so can the Shechinah radiate throughout the entire Universe!“’ (Sanh. 39a).” (Cohen, Chapter I. The Doctrine Of God, IV. Omnipresence, pp. 9-10 In some Rabbinic traditions the Spirit is viewed as a distinct Person from God who intercedes and prays to God: The Talmud (m. Sotah 9:6; b. Sotah 46a) states that when the elders performed the rite of the red heifer (Deut. 21:1-9), ‘They did not have to say, “And the blood shall be forgiven them” [Deut. 21:8], instead the Holy Spirit announces to them, “Whenever you do this, the blood shall be forgiven you.”’ Commenting on Exodus 1:12, ‘But the more they [i.e., the Israelites] were oppressed [by the Egyptians], the more they multiplied and spread,’ the Talmud states (b. Pesahim 117a) that the Holy Spirit announced to them, ‘So will he [Israel] increase and spread out!’ This is explained by Rashi and other major Jewish commentators to mean that the Holy Spirit said to the Egyptians, ‘Just as you seek to oppress them more, the more so will they increase and spread out!’ In a late midrash cited in Yalkut Reubeni (9d) to Genesis 1:26, after Ben Sira shared the secret, mystical teachings with his son Uzziah and his grandson Joseph, the Holy Spirit called out, ‘Who is it that revealed My secrets to mankind?’ Ben Sira replied, ‘I, Buzi, the son of Buzi.’ The Holy Spirit said to him, ‘Enough!’ Lamentations Rabbah 3:60, 9 relates that after the Roman emperor Hadrian indiscriminately executed two Jews, the Holy Spirit kept crying out, ‘You have seen O LORD, the wrong done to ME. Uphold MY cause! You have seen the depth of their vengeance, all their plots against ME’ (Lam. 3:59-60). This provides an example of the Spirit making intercession. According to Leviticus Rabbah 6:1, the Holy Spirit is a defense counsel who speaks to Israel on behalf of the Lord and then speaks to the Lord on behalf of Israel. To Israel the Spirit says, ‘Do not testify against your neighbor without cause’ (Prov. 24:28), and to the Lord the Spirit says, ‘Do not say, “I’ll do him as he has done me”’ (Prov. 24:29). The Holy Spirit in Islam According to Islam the Holy Spirit is distinct from all angels and is not an Angel Quran 70:4 ˹through which˺ the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit will ascend to Him on a Day fifty thousand years in length. If Gabriel is an Angel that means the Holy Spirit is not Gabriel according to chapter 70 verse 4 “˹through which˺ the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit will ascend to Him” The word, `Spirit’ or its derivatives are mentioned twenty-four times in the Qur’an and not once in relation to man. The word that describes the inner being of a man is `soul’, not `Spirit’. Dr Mustafa Mahmoud draws a distinction between the spirit and the soul in the Qur’an: According to the common language, we mix between the soul and the Spirit. And so we say, `his spirit departed’, or `his spirit longs for such and such’, or `his spirit is in torment’ … All these are incorrect expressions and belong only to the soul, not the Spirit. For what departs from the body is the soul (Q 6:93), and what tastes death is the soul and not the spirit (Q 3:185) … The soul exists before birth, and during the lifetime of a person, and remains after death. The Spirit cannot be tempted (Q. 5:30, Q. 50:16), does not covet or lust (Q. 91:7&8), does not get bored (Q 9:118) and does not get tormented (Q. 9:55) … all these belong to the soul and not the Spirit.[30] Imam Abu al-‘Azayem, another Sufi scholar, said: The Spirit [whom God breathed from in Adam] is the summation of all truths and is perfect in description. For this reason God made man His vice-regent and made the angels to worship him.[39] This is a clear acknowledgment that the Spirit is not a creature, but Divine. Only if the Spirit breathed into Adam is divine is the worship by the angels of Adam permissible, for then it is not classed as the worship by one creature of another, but the worship by a creature of the Divine in Adam. This led many Muslim scholars and mystics to conclude that Allah’s spirit is not a creature: … Further understanding of the Spirit is found in the writings of Ibn ‘Arabi, the Sufi mystic who believed that: Know that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of spirits. He is beyond and above the scope and range of the Divine creative command `be’ (kon). It cannot be said of Him that He is a creature, because He is a special aspect [literally, face] of the Truth [that is, of God]. By that aspect, existence came to be. He is a Spirit unlike other spirits, because He is the Spirit of God of which it was breathed into Adam, as is referred to by God’s word `and breathed My Spirit in him’. So the spirit of Adam is created and the Spirit of God is not created. He is the Holy Spirit; that is, the Spirit of Holiness, which is different from the defects and shortcomings of physical existence.[37] The New Testament authors thankfully use no metaphorically imagery or random theories on the identity of the spirit who hovered over the earth in Genesis 1 2 Matthew 3 16-17 and He saw the Spirit of G-d descending like a dove” Mark 1 9-11 “He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove”. Luke 3 21-22 “When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove” John 1 32-34 “And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.
Quoran Text : If Jesus is the only Messiah then why the Quoran always add "Jesus son of Mary" after mentionning the word "Messiah" !? Torah Text: Seems everyone is Messiah as long as he saves Jews !. This enables anyone to match that to his wish, hope, dream, interpretation....

Using strong words when speaking about Islam is a pattern of this Rabbi, words like "attack, get crazy, go nutz, be careful" this tone gives the wrong message, It's so simple, Muslims believe in Jesus christ as a prophet and a messenger from God, Mariam was a virgin and sacred, Jesus is the true and the only Messiah and he will come back to eliminate the "False Messiah". Jesus is mentioned in Quran more than prophet Muhammad.
Christians should follow the law and worship one God, which is why Jesus was sent, the difference is that Jesus was sent to everyone, not just jews, which explains why all the confusion after his disappearance, then Paul Turned him into a deity and equal to God, if you want to get a glimpse of Jesus True message, look at the Sermon on the Mount " “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished" Matthew 5-7. follow Gods commandments and Believe in the one God of Abraham, and you should be fine, just like Jews and you are people of the book, God is very merciful, if you just believe in him as one and repent. the 3 in one is such Blasphemy to the source material lol
they believe in a jesus, but not in the jesus, even most churches of today dont believe in the jesus of the bible, they believe in a human jesus, a man that came from the nature of mary, that his body was created by mary, that he is 100 percen human and 100 percent god, as well, they believe he is a person of the trinity, of which there is no such thing in the word of god, there is one god, and he is the father to one son, the spirit is the father to his WORD, the son of god, the messiah, who came from heaven, and tells it many many times in the bible, so no they dont believe in the true jesus, the son of god, everyone is looking for a messiah that is gonna be some man that comes, and he is, but he is not a human man, he is the god/man, who god sent into the world through mary, not from mary, but through mary to the world from heaven, and he came to his own and they did not recognize him and so they recieved him not, and even today they recieve him not, nor does islam and most christain religions of today, for we are in the great falling away from the truth, the last day famine, but there are those who no the truth, and even a remnant of the jewish people have come to him, but most of the world rejects him, they are not looking for him, for he is no special looking messiah that they would desire him, he looks like us, for we are made in his image, simular to a man, but he is begotten form heaven, the first man adam is of the earth, earthly, the second man is the lord from hevaen.
A man or angel who does not know the hour is not God in Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36 which means do not confuse God with a man or with an angel who does not know the hour because only God knows the hour.
does your hand no the hour your gonna move it, it only moves when your relay to it what to pick up, but your hand is still you, jesus is the word of god, until the farher relays when the word is to do such and such, the word does not no what , when, where, but the word is still god, and god is still his word, why do you no understand my speach, even because you no not my word, your are your word and your word is you, just like that hand you have does not no when to move until your relay to it to pick up the cup, so is tyhe fathet [spirit] to his son [WORD].
As I have shared many times, all three of the Abrahamic faiths deny JESUS as being the literal SON of GOD. Have a Quran, and I read it so I can be a better witness for my LORD. I have the Tanakh as well, so I can be a better witness to Jews . Im a growing number of Christians who are coming forth from all of the doctrines of Christianity to proclaim the TRUTH of the HEAVENLY FATHER and the SON. We know of the distortion that has infected Christianity, and we inform those of the truth. One day, the SON of GOD is going to straighten out the Abrahamic faith's for their mockery and disbelief. I have a small youtube channel where I share the TRUTH regarding how Christianity has been infiltrated by paganism, and I get some heat from the mainstream doctrine of Christianity "TRINITY " because I speak heavily againsts this doctrine . I view my formal Christian life as Paul when he left his formal life as a Hebrew of Hebrews. Christians like myself believe that Jesus was GOD'S first creation and the literal SON of GOD and not GOD. John 17. The Blessed LORD said: so that they may come to know YOU the only TRUE GOD and Jesus CHRIST whom thou hast sent 🙏 and this is my prayer for all who may read this 🙏
Respectful as always of Islam. Much admiration Rabbi. Your attitude towards Islam can almost pass for Rabbi Nathaniel alFayumi. I would add that Moshiah was not one figure in early Jewish eschatology. There were several messianic figures to come, of them an Aaronic rather than Davidic descendant which the Jesus profile seems to be more in line with in Islamic thought.
Wiliam you reject Jesus because Tovia was able to show you that there is an earthly messiah ben david so you replaced the earthly messiah David for the heavenly messiah Jesus. You can't use the old testament levitic priesthood covenant to make the rules for the new covenant that uses an entirely different priesthood(melchelzedek) for its rules. The earthly law covenant is used to "COVER" sin. Jesus isn't looking to "cover" sin, Jesus is looking to "REMOVE" sin therefore he isn't using the old testament levitic priesthood rules in order to be able to "REMOVE" sin with a 1 time sacrifice so he uses a new covenant with a higher melchelzedek priesthood and his kingdom is in heaven where sin and death are removed and his priesthood is in effect right now. Jesus has to have David as the earthly messiah in order for the jews and gentiles residing on earth during the millennium to believe in Jesus by faith because God will combine the 2 covenants, the old testament law for holiness and the covering of sin while holiness is being implemented and he will combine it with the new testament faith in Jesus for salvation after the millennium ends and Jesus creates a new heaven and new earth and all are under Jesus' melchelzedek priesthood where sin and death are done away with forever.
Jesus will help Mahdi fight the battle of evil the guided one the 12 leader Hadith if only one day is left in this earth Allah will lengthen that day to send a man from my family who will fill the earth with peace and Justice just as it was filled with creulty and oppression
In chapter 18 of Qur'an, Surah Kahf, The Cave, states that everything the Christians and their forefathers say about Eesa ibn Maryam is false. It's not in the Essence of ALLAH that any person be born without an earthly father and mother. Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus)is no exception. Neither was his mother a virgin by the time Jesus was born. So he wasn't the firstborn. There is no second coming of Eesa either. Just another fabrication copied from the the fables of Christian scholars. Also not in the Essence of ALLAH to do something so unnatural and absurd. ALLAH is not a Creator of confusion and contradiction but of Perfect Order. Unfortunately, Islamic scholars dating back to the 8th century, especially during the Ummayad Dynasty, copied directly from Jewish and Christian scholars which later filtered into the Islamic "books of tafseer, hadeeth and seerah", which Muslim scholars, unfortunately still preach today. Yet, Qur'an is the only book of Hadeeth to adhere to, as stated in Qur'an itself. Surah Kahf in Qur'an reveals all this for those who reflect upon the inner meaning of its text. With much respect to Tovia Singer, and I mean it sincerely, also falls into the trap of quoting dead scholars of the past who had an 8th century mindset. ALLAH is the Living (AL-HAYY) in real time. Peace to one and all.
You can tell someone knows absolutely nothing when they try to bring up the 600 year argument as if it’s supposed to mean anything, also, does adding LOL give you rhetoric points or what?
Im not sure thats so funny, maybe you'll think such a comment foolish when you consider It took 325 years after Jesus for one strand in Christian thought to dismiss, exclude and persecute the followers of other strands of Christianity who according to them, still didn't know who Jesus was. And we still didn't know who he was till the great schism of the 11th century -that's about 1000 years after Jesus, till the protestant reformation, quakers, Mormons, and the list goes on. So we still don't know Jesus in Christianity. The 600 year position is a modest one in comparison to how late Christianity has had to struggle to figure out who is Jesus
A thousand years after Moses and Christians tells to the Jews who Jesus was! LOL! 😅😅😅 A thousand more saying Jesus was the Son of God from Horus to Mithras, to Hindu...all are stolen IDEAS by the Christians! Lol!!! 😅😅😅 It doesn't mean you came first, you are correct or the truth! Lol!!! 😂😂😂 Nowhere in the Old Testament that says God will demand a Human (god) Sacrifice and offer blood to drink through god's death and rose up again just to atone sins of his creation! Nowhere!!! Lol!!! 😁😁😁 I think the holy spirit just left the chat! Lol!!! 😁😁😁 Am a revert, alhamdulillah.
In 2023 early December 2 rabbis came to the Christian church that I had visited that time at least for long months as a born Jew and baptized at the age of few months, now I am saying thank GOD. But Rabbi Yitzhak Kadouri in spirit, Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks in spirit, Eliyahu hanavi frequently come to see me or to watch over me, and also the wonderful King Solomon . All words are true. Back to the two rabbis one of theirs' head was crushed in the spiritual by Jesus the Christ, he is a very dangerous sick person. The other one (not naming him) excellent teacher and kind person, so when he came anyway I focused on him alone because of showing respect to his knowledge and teaching as rabbi, this is automatic Baruch Hashem; so he said in his thoughts when experiencing Christianity: oh, it is like that? : ) that was the spirit of Christ from GOD (!) and I saw many Christian angels were very pleased to see this good teacher rabbi and they loved him so much under Christianity from heaven, and I was so pleased. Because I know this rabbi the good one has his place there, too. The above mentioned high heavenly authorities never enter the church only they stay in the open spiritual realm and watching me, how I am doing or it was they came to testify that I had completed something and got a merit. Later when next occasion the Christian priest (he also liked the above mentioned second good rabbi because he saw that this rabbi is very serious, educated and the knowledge is there !) I am grateful to GOD. ....so but he was envy of me because of my blessings and merits and sometimes they wanted to steal if I noticed I said: the spirit of Hashem, and they could not Virgin Mary put many blessings unto me from the Bible in church they went almost green with being envy and this priest said once when he could not steal from me while preaching: GOD surrounds the Jews with His angels and prophets . So He saw them, and also Uriel. Once they were pushed down by Gabriel and Virgin Mary with a woman they wanted to steal from me. May the name of the LORD be eternally blessed.
Jesus is not the mesiah as Christian believe... in Islam Jesus is caled... Isa Al Masih and the meaning Al Masih in arab is THE RUBER for the miracle of Jesus healed the sicks by rub on them
Jesus is referred to as son of Mary in the Quran she’s on a higher level than him and has her own chapter, that why Muslim women dress like her, who would have thought Muslims and Catholics would have something in common with Marian worship 🤷🏻♂️. Muslims believe Jesus was to be crucified but Allah replaced him with Judas Iscarriot and made him look like Jesus, and Allah rose Jesus up to heaven. If Jesus wasn’t Divine in Islam, how did he talk as a new born baby? Not even Christians believe that
No offense buddy, but do you even believe your own argument? No where in the Quran does it say Jesus was replaced with Judas, it only says it appeared to them that Jesus was crucified, not that Allah made it appear so or he deceived them or whatever, they just thought he was, also, what does Jesus speaking as a baby have to do with being divine? He spoke as a baby because Allah allowed it, just like he allowed him to create a bird from clay or allowed other prophets to perform miracles, has nothing to do with divinity, also, you might want to read the verse about what exactly Jesus said in the cradle….
@ well Christianity was around 700 before Islam there’s is no mention of Jesus talking as a baby or turning Clay into a bird I don’t know where Mohammed got this stuff, maybe cause his first wife was Christian and he’s taken stories to the next level
For us Muslims, Jesus Christ is the Messiah! We believe in all prophets from Adam through Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace be upon them all. Jesus is the son of Virgin Mary and the servant of God, like all the other prophets of God (Allah; Elohim; HaShem; Yahweh)
we know what you guys believe... the true messiah will not require belief as he will be a matter of undeniable fact due to the prophecies he will fulfill.
wiserdhonestly i got a genuine question about your messiah. since you guys claim the gonna come from the house of david, can you even track the lineage anymore accurately its been 3000 years
God is 3 in One. God has to be more powerful than anything. All working together as one. Who ever sees the Son sees the father plain and simple. Holy Spirit is like the wind you can recognize its effect. And trust me you can feel it.
And, we know exactly Who He Is, for He did not speak to us in vain. Isaiah 43: "You are My witnesses," says the L-rd, "and My servant whom I chose," in order that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me no god was formed and after Me none shall be. *_I, I am the L-rd, and besides Me there is no savior._* I told and I saved, and I made heard and there was no foreigner among you, and you are My witnesses," says the L-rd, "and I am G-d." 1
Here is what G-d does not say. "We, we are the L-rd, and besides us there is no savior." Or "We are the L-rd, and there is none besides us." Or "Hear, oh, Israel, the L-rd our G-d, they are one." No, He set us straight, and He will set you straight very soon, as well. His words are defined very well, for He did not give us His Torah in vain. You just don't like the definitions of the words He uses.
Deut 4:35 You have been shown, in order to know that the Lord He is God; there is none else besides Him. Duet 4:39 And you shall know this day and consider it in your heart, that the Lord He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth below; there is none else. Deut 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God; the Lord is one. Deut 32:39 See now that it is I! I am the One, and there is no god like Me! I cause death and grant life. I strike, but I heal, and no one can rescue from My Hand! 2 Sam 7:22 Therefore You are great, O' Lord God: for there is none like You, neither is there any God beside You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. I Kings 8:60 So that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God: there is none else. 2 Kings 19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said, "O Lord God of Israel, Who dwells between the cherubim, You alone are the God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth. Isa 37:16,20 "O Lord of Hosts, God of Israel, Who dwells between the cherubim, You alone are the God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth. Isa 37:20 And now, O Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord alone." Isa 43:10-11 "You are My witnesses," says the Lord, "and My servant whom I chose," in order that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me no god was formed and after Me none shall be. Isa 43:11 I, I am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior. Who’s the questioner? I ask because this channel is for a Jewish rabbi. You would not ask your car mechanic about heart disease. You would ask your doctor. Similarly, you would not ask your dentist about the clunking sound coming from your car while driving. This is the same situation here. If you would like to know what Muslims believe, seek a qualified Muslim speaker. There are no English speaking Islamic scholars (despite what some claim), but there are plenty of English speaking students of the scholars who can clarify everything in terms of what Muslims believe and they will provide proofs and evidences. Don’t ask a rabbi questions about Islam. It’s not his area. He may be mistaken in the little he does know and not even know it of no fault of his own. Seek knowledge from proper sources.

As a believing Muslim I do hold that Jesus Christ was crucified. The only verse that speaks about it (Q4:157) is best understood when reading the following pre-Quranic passages: - *Wisdom of Solomon **2:10**-24* - *Wisdom of Solomon 3:1-5* - *John 10:17-18* - *John 19:10-11* - *Acts 2:22-24* - *Acts 4:23-30* Jesus Christ was a “shahid” (martyr/witness) for the “qadar” (pre-established plan) of Allah. His crucifixion was an indispensable part of his prophethood… *Q**3:54* (clear) And the disbelievers made a *PLAN* ˹against Jesus˺, but *ALLAH ALSO PLANNED* and *ALLAH IS THE BEST OF PLANNERS.*
So Allah tricked them to believe Jesus was killed. My god has no deceitfulnes in him but yours does thats not a problem to you that God would deceive people????
They tried to plan to kill him, instead god saved him. Are you saying he should have let Prophet get humiliated and killed ? The funny thing is that Christians ignore the fact that some people actually planned to torture and kill Jesus, but God saved him instead, so god is the evil one here because he saved him, but hey it's God's fault that he saved his Prophet. In fact in your book when Jesus was crying and wondering and asked God why he left him. This is really merciful of your first god the father to ignore his sons prayers, and the funny thing is that it is Jesus his son who is praying to him which is the best perfect human according to you, and still his prayer was ignored wow. Plus, let's assume he was actually killed. How would that lead you to trinity or Jesus divinity? The man got killed and god doesn't die. @melvinpervis6678

Thanks, I have recently been following your channel, and your arguments are very interesting and enlightening.
But, we have no texts to support that ancestry [which could've been purely political];
the Quran clearly emphasizes the grouping of Jesus with John the Baptist and Zechariah [Priestly class], and did not associate him with Solomon and David.
@
Interesting, but still not definitive proof.

Déception of al lah the devil
They believe Jesus is not divine.

According Quran Maria comes from the linage of Aron.
Good explanation Rabbi Tovia👍
Mary is given the name of a righteous person who lived before her in the same way as her father was given the name of a righteous person who lived before him.
The Jewish tradition is to name children with the name of a righteous person from the past.
After the time of Amram Imran who was the father of Aaron and Moses and Miriam 3200 years ago other people named their children Amram Imran for example a son of Bani was named Amram Imran.
.
Ezra 10:34 Of the sons of Bani: Maadai, Amram, and Uel.
.
Amram Imran is the father of Miriam the sister of Prophet Aaron and Prophet Moses 3200 years ago and Amram Imran is the father of the Virgin Mary the mother of Jesus 2000 years ago in the Quran.

My mother tongue is English and you have written in English however I do not understand what you have written
Another informative discussion!
However, Christianity today is in an identity crisis.
the sign of Abrahams religion is circumcision, Christian isn't it, because they are not perpetrators of circumcision, galatians 5:2
Thank you, Rabbi.
Gospel of Luke 24:19 And he said to them, "What things?" And they said to him, "The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet powerful in deed and in word, in the eyes of both God and all the people;
Quran 19:30 Koran 19:30 He (Jesus) said, “I am the servant of God. He (God) has given me the Scripture and has made me a Prophet.”
Christianity is totally idolatry. Too insistence that there is god named J.

Allah the almighty said :
[It is not appropriate for someone who Allah has blessed with the Scripture, wisdom, and prophethood to say to people, “Worship me instead of Allah.” Rather, he would say, “Be devoted to the worship of your Lord ˹alone˺-by virtue of what you read in the Scripture and what you teach.”]
Quran 3 : 79
And Allah The almighty said :
[And he would never ask you to take angels and prophets as lords. Would he ask you to disbelieve after you have submitted? ]
Quran 3 : 80
Taking the prophets and angels as lords is apostasy and disbelieve and Christians should repent
Shalom Aleichem Rav,

Came with a Shari'a to make Kosher again some of what was forbidden upon Jews earlier and yes to keep the rest of Torah
Quran (3:50) "And I have come to confirm the truth of whatever there still remains of the Torah, and to make lawful to you some of the things which had been" forbidden ...
Say (Prophet Muhammad, to the Jews of Yathrib), "Bring the Torah Taurat here and recite it (to me as evidence) if what you say (when you say that what Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel made unlawful for himself had always been forbidden by Allah) is true (meaning show proof in the Torah Taurat that Allah forbids eating the sinew of the thigh that is on the hip socket before the time when Prophet Jacob Yaqub Israel made it unlawful for himself in other words Prophet Muhammad is explaining why Allah has not prohibited this food for the Muslims)."
.
Note 1. The Jews who believed in God and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.
Note 2. The Christians who believed in God and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.
Note 3. The Sabians who believed in God and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.
Note 4. The Muslims who believed in God and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.
Note 5. Everyone who believed in God and did good deeds goes to Paradise Jannah.
Note 6. This revelation is so important that God has repeated it in Quran 5:69.
.
Quran 4:123 Koran 4:123 (Entry to Paradise Jannah) shall not be based on your (the Muslim's) desires or on the desires of the people of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians). (Instead) whoever does wrong (on the earth) shall earn (the punishment for the wrong) and that person shall not find any protector or helper other than God (in the hereafter).
Note 1. God will judge Muslims and Christians and Jews and every creation justly in the hereafter.
.
This means only one word "submission" is correct because it is the word with which there are no contradictions in the Quran.
.
Quran 3:64 Koran 3:64 Say, “O People of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians) let us come to an agreement between you and us (Muslims), that we shall worship no one but God, and that we shall ascribe no partner to Him (meaning, there is only one God, we pray only to our creator the one God and no one else, not to sons, not to saints, not to any idol), and that none of us shall take others for Lords instead of God.” And if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted to Him (God).”
Note 1.
The Qur'an says the Gospel of Jesus IS Islam.
The Islamic doctrine of Jesus at least conforms to the Jewish doctrine that human sacrifice was never part of atonement.
We Muslims believe Jesus was the messiah of Jews. But he was rejected by his people. Christians corrupted this concept later. They turned him to God
The core foundational belief in Judaism is: "Hear O Israel, the Lord your God is One" which is somewhat similar in Islam "La Ilaha il Allah". The Christians interpret the "Shema" as One God yet Triune.

Allāh - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining.
Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?
He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them,

@@yeshuaweha1862 Yes it is false... like all Religions are^^ 🤦♂
Lol why you saying she's not a virgin? Seems like you never read the Surah Maryam before, since that clearly states that no man has touched her, and so she asks how can she have a baby? And the answer is, it's easy for God
And for the birth of Yahya, her uncle Zacharyah asked how can he have a baby if his wife is old and barren, the answer was the same, it's easy for God.
So you're wrong to say how she conceived isn't specified. It says it's by the word of God and Jesus was therefore a word of God, as was Adam, both conceived without a father.
As for not ascending to heaven, well then I wonder what else you think means "God raised him to himself"? Lool
And as for mutawaffeek, does it really mean his death? Or is there another word used for death? Literally, it is the same word that the Qur'an uses to say a person's soul goes to God every night and God sends it back, until he doesn't. Does this mean people "die" every night? Or could it perhaps mean something else?

Just consider the statement that " Jesus AKA ISAA his grave is next to Mohammed ", this is a not accepted hadith, and it is rejected.
Nope, many islamic scholars rejected this idea and refuted it multiple times, nice try though
I love Jesus because im Muslim. Also Moses, beloved figure in my faith.
What is Rabbis point with Jesus being from the household of David or not? In Islam it does not matter, at least it is not something our God points to as important.

The Holy Spirit in Rabbinic Tradition
Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.
According to Reish Lakish, as it is written: “The spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water” (Genesis 1:2), this is the spirit of the messianic king. (Midrash Vayikra Rabbah 14:1)
The Rabbis used a metaphorical imagery to describe the spirit that hovered over the face of the waters as the “King Messiah”.
Ba’al HaTurim commentary on Genesis 1:2
“And the spirit of God was hovering: has a numerical equivalent (gematria) of ‘this is the spirit of messiah.’
Rashi interprets Spirit of G-d to be exclusively the “Throne” For Genesis 1:2
Rashi Comments
AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD WAS HOVERING - The throne of Divine Glory was standing in space, hovering over the face of the waters by the breath of the mouth of the Holy One, blessed be He, and by His command, even as a dove hovers over its nest.
In rabbinic Judaism God’s Spirit is his very own Presence, his Shekhinah that fills the entire earth:
“More often it is employed to describe the endowment of a person with special gifts. Prophecy, in the sense of the ability to interpret the will of God, is the effect of which the Holy Spirit is the cause. Its possession also endows one with foreknowledge.” (Abraham Cohen, Everyman’s Talmud, [Schoken Books, New York], Chapter II. God And The Universe, II. Transcendence And Immanence, p. 45;
Cohen goes on to explain what the Shekhinah is in Jewish thought:
“What, in Rabbinic teaching, is God’s relation to the world?
In some Rabbinic traditions the Spirit is viewed as a distinct Person from God who intercedes and prays to God:
The Talmud (m. Sotah 9:6; b. Sotah 46a) states that when the elders performed the rite of the red heifer (Deut. 21:1-9), ‘They did not have to say, “And the blood shall be forgiven them” [Deut. 21:8], instead the Holy Spirit announces to them, “Whenever you do this, the blood shall be forgiven you.”’
Commenting on Exodus 1:12, ‘But the more they [i.e., the Israelites] were oppressed [by the Egyptians], the more they multiplied and spread,’ the Talmud states (b. Pesahim 117a) that the Holy Spirit announced to them, ‘So will he [Israel] increase and spread out!’ This is explained by Rashi and other major Jewish commentators to mean that the Holy Spirit said to the Egyptians, ‘Just as you seek to oppress them more, the more so will they increase and spread out!’
In a late midrash cited in Yalkut Reubeni (9d) to Genesis 1:26, after Ben Sira shared the secret, mystical teachings with his son Uzziah and his grandson Joseph, the Holy Spirit called out, ‘Who is it that revealed My secrets to mankind?’ Ben Sira replied, ‘I, Buzi, the son of Buzi.’ The Holy Spirit said to him, ‘Enough!’
Lamentations Rabbah 3:60, 9 relates that after the Roman emperor Hadrian indiscriminately executed two Jews, the Holy Spirit kept crying out, ‘You have seen O LORD, the wrong done to ME.
The Holy Spirit in Islam
According to Islam the Holy Spirit is distinct from all angels and is not an Angel Quran 70:4 ˹through which˺ the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit will ascend to Him on a Day fifty thousand years in length. If Gabriel is an Angel that means the Holy Spirit is not Gabriel according to chapter 70 verse 4 “˹through which˺ the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit will ascend to Him”
The word, `Spirit’ or its derivatives are mentioned twenty-four times in the Qur’an and not once in relation to man. 9:55) … all these belong to the soul and not the Spirit.[30]
Imam Abu al-‘Azayem, another Sufi scholar, said:
The Spirit [whom God breathed from in Adam] is the summation of all truths and is perfect in description. For this reason God made man His vice-regent and made the angels to worship him.[39]
This is a clear acknowledgment that the Spirit is not a creature, but Divine. Only if the Spirit breathed into Adam is divine is the worship by the angels of Adam permissible, for then it is not classed as the worship by one creature of another, but the worship by a creature of the Divine in Adam.
This led many Muslim scholars and mystics to conclude that Allah’s spirit is not a creature:
… Further understanding of the Spirit is found in the writings of Ibn ‘Arabi, the Sufi mystic who believed that: Know that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of spirits. He is the Holy Spirit; that is, the Spirit of Holiness, which is different from the defects and shortcomings of physical existence.[37]
The New Testament authors thankfully use no metaphorically imagery or random theories on the identity of the spirit who hovered over the earth in Genesis 1 2
Matthew 3 16-17 and He saw the Spirit of G-d descending like a dove”
Mark 1 9-11 “He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove”.
Luke 3 21-22 “When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove”
John 1 32-34 “And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.

even thought we have diffrent law of prophethood rabbai tovia give short fact info about Prophet Isa son of mary in islamic perspective but only we added about crucifixion ,its only appeared or assume by rumors where Isa son of mary are crucified but the fact he has save by power of illah as part of test for humankind from the creator ,in fact certainty the almighty creator is director of ever thing include stage of worldwide what is in ..be is be ..without almighty creator will history not exist if we accept this concept we no have any differ anymore ...😢btw we respectly tovia knowledge about others ibrahimic religion only refrence with scripture without bias that is good manner..
That is the reason jesus is called " the son of Mary"
Zero genealogy 👍
Excellent Presentation...yet alot of Fish Bait in your comments section 😅
The new testament akso said there will be faje jews that lie synagogue of satan something like that😂
As I have shared many times, all three of the Abrahamic faiths deny JESUS as being the literal SON of GOD.
Alhamdulillah.
The Qur'an says the Gospel of Jesus IS Islam.
@EdwardSchwarz-n9j Jesus didn't where a sword around his neck.
@Jock-kp4kg Jesus didn't give anybody armaments to bomb civilian cities to rubble either.
@EdwardSchwarz-n9j I agree with you, tell that to the other Muslims here who think this rabbis is there best cousin.
Music sucks a bit
600 years after Jesus, Mohammed tells people who Jesus is! LOL!!!
You can tell someone knows absolutely nothing when they try to bring up the 600 year argument as if it’s supposed to mean anything, also, does adding LOL give you rhetoric points or what?
how about 1600yrs after Moses then ?
LOL! 😅😅😅
A thousand more saying Jesus was the Son of God from Horus to Mithras, to Hindu...all are stolen IDEAS by the Christians! Lol!!! 😅😅😅
It doesn't mean you came first, you are correct or the truth! Lol!!! 😂😂😂
Nowhere in the Old Testament that says God will demand a Human (god) Sacrifice and offer blood to drink through god's death and rose up again just to atone sins of his creation! Nowhere!!! Lol!!! 😁😁😁
I think the holy spirit just left the chat! Lol!!! 😁😁😁
Am a revert, alhamdulillah.
Do you understand your own argument?
In 2023 early December 2 rabbis came to the Christian church that I had visited that time at least for long months as a born Jew and baptized at the age of few months, now I am saying thank GOD.
But Rabbi Yitzhak Kadouri in spirit, Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks in spirit, Eliyahu hanavi frequently come to see me or to watch over me, and also the wonderful King Solomon .
All words are true.
Back to the two rabbis one of theirs' head was crushed in the spiritual by Jesus the Christ, he is a very dangerous sick person.
The other one (not naming him) excellent teacher and kind person, so when he came anyway I focused on him alone because of showing respect to his knowledge and teaching as rabbi, this is automatic Baruch Hashem;
so he said in his thoughts when experiencing Christianity:
oh, it is like that?
: )
that was the spirit of Christ from GOD (!)
and I saw many Christian angels were very pleased to see this good teacher rabbi and they loved him so much under Christianity from heaven, and I was so pleased. Because I know this rabbi the good one has his place there, too.
The above mentioned high heavenly authorities never enter the church only they stay in the open spiritual realm and watching me, how I am doing or it was they came to testify that I had completed something and got a merit.
Later when next occasion the Christian priest (he also liked the above mentioned second good rabbi because he saw that this rabbi is very serious, educated and the knowledge is there !) I am grateful to GOD.
....so but he was envy of me because of my blessings and merits and sometimes they wanted to steal
if I noticed I said:
the spirit of Hashem, and they could not
Virgin Mary put many blessings unto me from the Bible in church they went almost green with being envy
and this priest said once when he could not steal from me while preaching:
GOD surrounds the Jews with His angels and prophets . So He saw them, and also Uriel.
Once they were pushed down by Gabriel and Virgin Mary with a woman they wanted to steal from me.
May the name of the LORD be eternally blessed.
Muslims believe that he was the last Jewish prophet.
Not entirely. Muslims believe Jesus is a Muslim and the last prophet sent to the children of Israel.
The last prophet sent to the children of Israel

The only verse that speaks about it (Q4:157) is best understood when reading the following pre-Quranic passages:
- *Wisdom of Solomon **2:10**-24*
- *Wisdom of Solomon 3:1-5*
- *John 10:17-18*
- *John 19:10-11*
- *Acts 2:22-24*
- *Acts 4:23-30*
Jesus Christ was a “shahid” (martyr/witness) for the “qadar” (pre-established plan) of Allah. His crucifixion was an indispensable part of his prophethood…
*Q**3:54* (clear)
And the disbelievers made a *PLAN* ˹against Jesus˺, but *ALLAH ALSO PLANNED* and *ALLAH IS THE BEST OF PLANNERS.*
So Allah tricked them to believe Jesus was killed. My god has no deceitfulnes in him but yours does thats not a problem to you that God would deceive people????
The best of deceivers
