The aromas are not decisive for the wine ( taste) may be only 20 % because it is not the perfume or eau de toilet ,,,,,,?!
But to drink wine , in the mouth is very important more 80 % ( compared to the aromas of the nose 20% ) !!!!!!?????
I am sorry , with all respect, there is misunderstanding here. What I said was, we can sense only five primary tastes which, to be clear, are not flavours, flavours produced mostly by Retronasal Smell (Aromas) and we can sense billions of Aromas both by Direct nasal (on the outside of the nose ), and Retronasal (backside of the nose) (I said that in Wine tasting clip).Of cause, in the mouth is important ( we do drink wine) because that is where Retronasal (which is also about aromas and nose) happens. Persanally, it is not important to be decisive, pleasure of wine is more about being poetic , but for me wine aroma can be as decisive as parfum and eau de toilette , depends on who and how they make them (I live next to parfum creator from Grasse ) I believe you have your way to appreciate wine but please , why not , consider wine aromas to be more in those appreciation :)
