@@XFreQ69 25 years is a long time 😂. That's a quarter century. That's generational talent. So in the last 25 years, of the millions of people who play and enjoy golf, only 2 have been this good. At that rate you'd get 4 of these types of generational talents every 100 years. How is that not the definition of "rare"?
The guy finally found a putter that works for him and he starts winning everything. He was already #1 tee-to-green and now he's dominant on the greens. You just can't compete against this guy.
My handicap says 29 strokes over him. But if we’re playing this course from the same tees, I’m not breaking 90. Breaking 95 would be a good day. I would need a lot of strokes, let’s leave it at that
The greatest year of golf I've ever seen. The greatest golfer I've ever seen. If he's consistently great like Tiger and Jack, he can end up as the GOAT.
Many of his peers will openly admit that if his putter is working that he is almost unbeatable. He's more cool, calm, and collected than Fred Couples used to be.
So good yet so humble! Deadly combo when competing against players with arrogance but not the game to back it up! You got a love the guy that beat your seven and six then apologizes and invites you to lunch 😂
The thing i love most is Scotties swing isn't that pretty or that orthodox, but my god it's affective, which kinda reminds you that a few quirks in your move is ok as long as the ball goes where you want it to, you can't help but admire the man👌🍻
I love when the commentators stress that the ball needs to move or get a good bounce , like it’s going to miss the fairway , but the fairways are 100 yards wide 😂 they need to cool it
@ well that can’t be true , but that doesn’t matter , because everytime they were worried about the ball kicking the wrong way into the native area it didn’t bounce sideways and it was really even close to the edge
Reminds me of Tom Lehman in his stretch of greatness where you didn’t even notice him then he wins the tournament by nine and then wins the week after that nothing flashy about his game, but boy does he get it done
I got odds if 4/1 2 months ago and out 500 pounds on him which is my biggest ever bet ? My missus was on the verge of divorcing me but I was that confident on this particular course ! Cheers Scottie Lad for my now free Xmas 👊 🏴
@@kylewade8704 well if you’re going to ask the question then yes 1 million isn’t really much out of 60-70 million a year , and like everyone always says over and over they don’t care about the money they want to win and this doesn’t count as a win

I’m LOVING TIGER Commentator
The Thomas outtro is pretty funny
Hahaha
Looks like he’s got tears in his eyes too.
That got a legit "hehe" out of me
Such a rare honor to be able to watch this kind of excellence in the sport of golf. Or any other sport for that matter.
Not that rare, i mean we watched Tiger 25 years ago, it's not like it was generations in between ...
So I guess players like Tiger and Scheffler are a dime a dozen. That's why I feel fortunate to have seen two players dominate golf during my lifetime
it's not that rare, it just hasn't happened in 25 years!

For a guy with such a quirky swing he's so incredibly dominant it's wild. He's just winning EVERYTHING.
@@CosmicApequirky? Everything about his swing is textbook except for sliding a foot after he already makes contact
How do you compete against this..
You can’t, especially now that he has his putter under control.
u compete for 2nd place 😂
fairways and greens -- gotta be top of your game to beat him
Oh you don’t 😅

His swing with the driver is so cool!
The greatest year of golf I've ever seen. The greatest golfer I've ever seen.
If he's consistently great like Tiger and Jack, he can end up as the GOAT.
Not even possible
He’s amazing rn but He has 2 majors
Man you can't play better than Scottie is playing. This is outrageous.
Good thing you picked up on that Brandon, you should be a commentator. We had no idea how good Scotty was until we read your comment.
@@chezchezchezchez troll😂😂😂
This is literally video game gold
Given his form, It will take the combined brilliance of the top 3 players to beat Scottie.
This shot at 6:54 is hard to fathom... 200+ yards from a waste area to 8 feet - I have no words
I couldn’t help but laugh at some of these shots haha unreal
Way to go Scottie!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

The Scottie Scheffler Tour
Way to go Scottie!
Simply cannot compete against this kind of performance. The fact that he does this all year round, lol.
The sheriff is back in town! Game over
The Bunker Shot at 16 is something impossible for an average human.. You cant beat him at this level as simple as that
This guy's a stud
Just SILLY atp🔥🔥🔥
This guy doesn’t even break a sweat
Daylight got second, third and fourth.
what a stud...

Dude is an animal.
It’s actually kind of surprising he’s only won two majors to this point. I’m sure many more are coming.
I don't think "coast in for the finish" means what you think it means.
I love when the commentators stress that the ball needs to move or get a good bounce , like it’s going to miss the fairway , but the fairways are 100 yards wide 😂 they need to cool it
It’s playing tricks on u with how it looks, the widest fairway on this course is only 35 yards it’s the narrowest fairways on tour
@ well that can’t be true , but that doesn’t matter , because everytime they were worried about the ball kicking the wrong way into the native area it didn’t bounce sideways and it was really even close to the edge
But can he do it on a cold rainy Open day in Scotland ? 😆
Surely can. He was best tee to green in 2024 The open. Just have to not be worst with putter
Now here’s a guy that really knows how to control his golf ball really well and he kind of reminds me of Patrick Mahomes.
Cris Collinsworth?
We kinda see that outta Patrick mahomes
And that is what we usually see from Patrick Mahomes.
Reminds me of Tom Lehman in his stretch of greatness where you didn’t even notice him then he wins the tournament by nine and then wins the week after that nothing flashy about his game, but boy does he get it done
You are really stretching if Tom Lehmann comes to mind when you’re watching Scottie Scheffler.
Is he your brother or something?
What? Tom Lehman won multiple events in a season 1 time. Scottie has now won 9 times in 2024 and 16 times since the start of 2022
damn he's good
What course is this?
Greatest golfer of all time
Good to see that sucking up to Tiger is not enough.
Boycott ball rollback
Great Golf. But Woods is yet to be touched
Career wise yes, but Scottie right now is crushing all of his individual numbers, tiger just happened to play against less talented golfers
Prime example that you dont need to win the most major to be the best in the world.
Last year Xander won 2, but ranking is behind.
Am I crazy, or is Scottie pausing at the top a fraction longer than he used to?
You are officially a crazy man
what am i watching 😭😭
complete dominance
Almost as good as the best ladies.
3:15 this glazing is outrageous
Deserved
That was scarey good from Scottie

Having Justin Thomas on the intro is just mean haha
What's that putter grip hes doing?
just kidding, already sick of hearing about it

Just a different demeanor to the rest of the field
He reminds me of prime Poulter now that he can putt.
