There are lots of unknown Filipino street kids, homeless and poor who can sing in various techniques may it be heady, chesty, mixed voice, whistle or head voice. It's just that Music producers here choose looks over talent. That's why there are tons of Filipino singers trying their luck in other countries rather than joining singing contest here.
I think they had doubts if he'd be able to reach the note and he did! Medyo nakakasapaw kase sya like when they performed the same song with iya minah and jewel that kat had to hit that note towards the end. I think they got curious if he can belt as high. I like him better here. He just needs to tone down when singing with other performers.
Oo naman Reyna sya ng mga "Bading Biritira" / "Divalicious Beki" just like EJ Salamante...matanda na kasi si Anton Diva at di na makapag extreme high notes!
Di lang talaga si Regine ang nakakakuha ng mga high belts, ang dami talaga makakakuha and powerful din. Nagkataon lang na Senior nila si Regine kaya sinasabi ng karamihan na iba si Regine.
