Is the pre-painted version smooth like it appears? the un painted version seems to have a somewhat pebble finish. I was going to purchase un finished, and paint outer portions body color. Thanks
I installed mine today, looks great only thing I didn’t like were the gaps where it rounds off under the headlights, I thought I installed it wrong pulled it back off to re adjust it, and the gaps are still there, very small but wasn’t sure if it was like that with all of them or not
Not sure. I installed one when I had my yellow GT some years back. The gap was there also. I’m guessing it’s like that on all of them. Was thinking of trying to ad double side 3M tape around those areas. Still looks good in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
I used Plasti Dip. It is easily removable if you don’t like the outcome. I did this instead of regular paint. But the choice is up to you! Thanks for watching!

Yes, the Pre-Painted version is smooth. Matches the original paint perfectly!

Is the black part matte?
Yes it is a satin black. It isn’t a full flat black, It gives off a small shine in the sun.
