Homemade roast beef sandwiches. Thin sliced roast beef from the deli or cook your own roast and slice for sandwiches, brown gravy mix. Mix together and cook until the roast beef is warm. Serve on a sub bread with lettuce, tomato and pickles. If you cook your own roast, you can serve half with your usual sides the first day and the second day make the sandwiches.

Yes we eat a lot of sandwiches. I’ve been cooking for 50 years. Now I take the easy way out.
Yes, people still take meals to grieving families. Sometimes people organize a meal train, so they have fresh meals every day or so. It was a godsend for me when my first hubby passed and my kids were little. I could barely function. Dont be afraid to ask him what would help. I had food brought, some ladies came to help clean my house. Just having the company of people around helped a lot.
One thing I did to help me decide what to cook, I made a list. Example; I put ground meat and listed every meal I could think of that I use ground meat. Same with chicken, beef, pork. Another idea is breakfast meals for dinner.

Meal ideas: Mexican spaghetti, make your taco meat and mix it with your spaghetti noodles. Top it with whatever you might put on your tacos, such as chopped tomatoes, sour cream, salsa and definitely lots of cheese.
A favorite at my house is hamburger, potatoes onions and peppers. Brown ground chuck, add onions and peppers, I buy the frozen bag. And peeled diced potatoes. Garlic powder, onion powder, S&P. We have mixed veggies and cornbread. That's it. We have it once a week. Hamburger steakes, steak fries, salad. Small hamburger patties, cooked in onion gravy mix, creamed potatoes, corn, rolls. Hope this helps.
So young to loose your life but God saw him as an important Angel and that's how I see it. My sister lost her grandson a week before he graduated from college hit by a car and he passed away. He's also Gods Angel and his grandpa Bill was there to meet him. So my sister has had two losses with in a year of each other. But she has the best Angels watching over her. Trust me all white towels are better even with kids... If bleach gets on them they don't discolored the material I always wash them with a little bit of vinegar I use white revive and my detergent... If you get any stains use hydrogen peroxide stay it on let stand 15 to20 minutes. My washer has a power wash and that's how I clean my white towels. I buy the 2.97 towels from Wal-Mart and they are white.. We have six people in our house I live with my daughter... So I do the laundry... My grandson sat in gum with white baseball pants... I got it out using goo gone over night a brush and repeated it with goo gone brushed the spot and sprayed with peroxide washed with my white revive detergent on power wash. Bingo the gum was gone pants are white and the crack of his butt doesn't have a stain..

Hi! We are a family of 5 and I meal plan for a month. The way that we do this is everyone tells me their favorite meals and we rotate those meals by the month. Everyone gets what they like and we keep that monthly meal plan until someone comes up with something they are tired of and we mix it up for a few months. I keep the grocery list the same way. We get our groceries weekly still, but wow it sure takes the "chore" out of the kitchen.
Taco soup, baked spaghetti, burrito's in oven with Mexican rice .......Ramen noodles with chicken , chicken Alfredo ...all these are pretty affordable

Meal ideas: Large cornbread muffins with chili, Salad bar ( lay everything out on the counter & add what you want to the salad), lipton onion soup mix burgers, Naan bread tacos, maybe try other meats like goat, lamb, turkey, duck.
I like to get my towels at TJ Maxx, then I can get pretty, good quality without spending as much. I decorate my bathroom with and them😊and wait awhile to use them. Then it’s a treat when I do use them.

Amanda, I can give you my favorite family dish from me young and now (72 yrs old). We called it goulash but it is tostados. For your family size…….cook two pounds hamburger……add some salt and pepper…..cook until done…..add two cans refried beans….two cans Spanish rice (hard to find)……about half cup picante sauce and half cup water……I like mine thick so more or less water. Fry corn tortillas crispy…add goulash….top with onions, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. Can stack two or three or just do one. Pretty quick meal. Enjoy from New Mexico! If you want more spice can add green chilies in goulash! 🌻🌻❤️🌻🌻🌮

I’m like you. I like a good worn out towel. Idk why. I hate the thick ones. I feel like it’s a waste. The thick ones take up more space to store them, and are so much heavier in the washing machine. Idk…call me weird. lol. I would w sit until Black Friday for towel deals. Shop online and you get the same great deals without the stress of overcrowded stores. ❤

I detest meal planning, cooking, and cleanup. I don’t like my kitchen messed up, lol. Once in a while I like to cook or bake something and then I make it for two meals. Luckily my husband loves leftovers. At 69 yrs old I just don’t care anymore!
