An interpretation of blue skies.
A project which never really was a project and was done between everything else. But finally, I was sitting on my desk again for weeks and weeks, tweaking shots, mixing paint and staring at a wet piece of paper.
All scenes were created with water colors, ink and acrylic paint.
Shot with an 8K cinema camera.
About the Artist 🎨🎥🖌️
Roman De Giuli is a German photographer and filmmaker, specialized in practical effects and experimental fluid art. His compositions mainly consist of fluids, powders and colors which are applied on paper, in fish tanks or petri dishes. High resolution stills and 8K videos are captured with macro lenses to cover tiny areas in enormous reproduction scales. Roman does extensive studies of organic patterns, their behavior and movement. With the help of music and sound design, he transforms the abstract narrative potential of his hand made visuals to experimental montages with a cinematic character.

Absolutely awesome as always. I always watch your videos two times, once on my computer to see the details a bit bigger, and then again on my phone (iPhone 12 Pro Max) to be absolutely blown away by the beauty with HDR on an OLED display. If only there were HDR OLED computer monitors available in an appropriate size at an acceptable price

TH-cam being TH-cam has decided to encode the 8K resolution only in AV1 for now, which means for vast majority of the users the maximum resolution available for this video is only 4K unless you have hardware that can natively decode 8K.
Why would anyone use 8k anyway?
Barely anyone has an 8k TV and wasn’t it so that TH-cam doesn’t support 8k hdr?
The HDR in the videos is what really matters.

Deine Videos sind unglaublich schön 🔥 ich würde auch gerne anfangen liquid Art zu filmen und wollte Dich fragen, was du als Basis für z.B. CYMK Druckerfarben benutzt? Bei mir sehen die Farben sonst immer zu dünn und flüssig aus. Würde mich sehr über ihr Antwort freuen :)
Nimmt Pouring Medium zum Beispiel von Liquitex um Acrylfarben dickflüssig anzurühren, dann wird die Farbtrennung auch besser.
