    Bit of an eye opener. I’m looking at another business now , it’s not what something I’ve done before. Having said that it’s a business that has direct relations to interest/ hobbies I poor myself into. Does this kind of knowledge help?

    This is great...however I need to listen to it a couple of times to fully understand it and how to incorporate the themes into my plan. January this year I saw the economy going to crap, I’ve gone back to Gov in a permanent position (for 5 years is my plan) so I can leverage that opportunity to leap frog 🐸 into investments...I’m a construction project manager. I’ve picked up a couple of concepts here that I need to raise with my accountant. Thanks 😊

      As construction manager, stay with what you know. I bought cheap homes in Ararat, build 2 units to the back of 1/4 block. I used my team from Melbourne & frame s from Bowen. Of the truck. Go to a property seminar and sell. I went to Steve McKnight. But heaps around. Take sec 32- then go again. Good luck . Easy As that.

    This is brilliant! Helped my frame my approach to building my portfolio. Cashflow first, then buy growth, rinse and repeat!

    Quick question, may be obvious, but why would a business that is that profitable be up for sale?

    Broad question - do you have a rough incremental plan you’d recommend for someone just starting their FI journey? e.g. buy first property and renovate, sell, buy unit, rent out, develop land, buy first business etc etc? Terrible example but you know what I mean.
    As it stands 90% of my capital is invested in the ASX, I’m not willing to leverage into the ASX so it’s it’s time for a change...
    NSW regional town for context.
    Thanks!

    • @KentCliffe
      @KentCliffe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Rough plan is growth assets first, provided you have an income you'll be asset poor. The focus is to grow asset base and reinvest the equity. My focus was on buying a run down property cheap and then work hard to renovate it. I sold it to fund my next deal, if you're more of a passive investor, you'd revalue and refinance. Good idea for a more detailed video 👍

      @@KentCliffe Thanks for the reply. Mate, wtf are all these Nicholas Fx trade spammers in this thread!?
      But yeah agreed I think a lot of people would get a lot out of that kind of video.
      I’d love to develop a block but I don’t have the capital. Are they’re any other types other growth assets I should be looking at or are cheap houses/reno’s where it’s at for a beginner?
      Thanks again.

      I'm very lucky my wife looks after our PM business, but as much as I'd love to say it, she doesn't do it for love. 😂 I pay market wages and she has support by a great team so that it's not entirely on her shoulders.
      I always try to keep my commitment in ops to a minimum, nothing wrong with getting involved in strategy and growth, just always consider the time value of your efforts.
      Appreciate the support 👍🙏

    Great video Kent. One question:
    Are these small businesses managed or do you need to manage them yourself? I feel like buying a small business you would need to invest a lot of time to run and grow the business, manage staff, accounts etc.
    Doesn't' seem too passive to me, is there a way around this?

    • @KentCliffe
      @KentCliffe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is management, but what I didn't cover in more detail is by 'buying more revenue' there is no further input by me. I touched on it with infinite scale of the revenue.

    • @KentCliffe
      @KentCliffe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a team of 9 with a GM. The way around is you need to get to a scale to justify a manager role.

      Great video, Bitcoin has shown to be the best cryptocurrency and has it has taken the bull by it’s horn, With it current condition Bitcoin will likely reach 15000 in few months no doubt. 2019 I lost my Bitcoin, due to the fall and I had to sell the rest because I lost faith in Bitcoin investment. not until I saw a TH-cam video, which accolades is being giving to Mr Nicholas Myron for helping traders increase their portfolio, I reached him and he introduced me to a secured designed layout which with the live trade he provided me with 98% platform and with his strategy I was able to increase my Wallet from 0.85BTC to 2BTC in just 14 Trading days, if you know you a newbie or you will like to increase your portfolio reach him on Instagram (@nicholas__fxtrade)....

      A lot of people are not financially stable this period and it's not easy, I always advise people, don't just waste your stimulus checks or salary, invest it in something that will yield more, even if it is a part of it. We can't keep relying on a paycheck that is already half-spent before we even receive it, there are investment opportunities that have helped a lot of people especially in the financial market. Having different streams of income is essential in this pandemic, especially now most of us have to earn and work from home. I've made impressive progress so far this year and it has helped me sort out a lot of bills and I do that through a registered investment company. You can get in touch with the manager via Instagram (@nicholas__fxtrade) he will guide you properly.....
