It may not be fun as the civic, but this car looks better than Civic,Corola,even the new Jetta. That's why I like Kia and Hyundai, they made car that make sense.
Ron, You are too big for that car; that's why the seats are uncomfortable for you. The vehicle looks nice in white, and lots of us poor folks want 41 MPG on the highway, not a fast zero to sixty time. We can't afford to pay speeding tickets.
my GTI's motor blew and i had to make the smart financial decision and purchased a 2019 Kia Forte. I am 6' 4" at 260 pounds, i find these seats fairly comfortable, comfort is a personal opinion. Zero to 60 times do not equate to speeding tickets, its about the ability to move out of harms way or merging onto a freeway with a short on-ramp. I miss the power of my GTI but this car is quicker than my girlfriends Prius C and has OK passing power for its segment.

I bought a 2018 Forte EX (in Canada) and absolutely love it. Sometimes I'm driving and it hits me just how nice this car is. Impressed with Kia and looking forward to another Forte maybe in ten years or so.
I took delivery of a 2019 Kia Forte S 12/15/19 (got tons of rebates with my trade in) after Trading in my 2018 Kia Forte S. Big difference. Size wise the 2019 is a tad bit longer and wider. Seats are alot more comfortable than the 2018 and gas mileage its the 2019 is slightly better than the 2018. Styling, way better; can't complain. Handling alot stiffer than the 2019 but overall it is fun to drive and does get me to where I need to go. Having it only a week; no complaints. This is our 3rd Kia that we've bought and so far Kia has not disappoint one bit. Lots of haters out there and we've all have been accustomed to a particular car manufacturer; but in the end, dont knock it till you drive it.

I bought exactly THAT car I love it !! Smart cruise Harnon Kardon stereo (amazing by the way) and I don t think it was mentioned the air conditioning seats !! WoW !! That is right air conditioned seats and also heated seats front and back also heated steering wheel , leather seats ......and on and on and on. The white is a metallic paint and looks awesome with black highlights everywhere.And ....drumroll please .....freaking cheap on gas !
I bought the 2019 Kia Forte EX Launch two weeks ago, and I LOVE IT! The Fire Orange color has turned a few heads. A couple of girls actually looked my way and admired the car while at a traffic light. This car definitely looks more expensive than it really is externally as well as internally. #GoKia #ChickMagnet
Needs more power !! 147Hp !!! Needs 23Hp more with 185 ft/lbs of torque . My 2016 Elantra Gt gives you 173Hp & I get 36 / 38 Mpg on the highway . 30 in the city . You’d have to buy the Hatchback to get more power 162Hp .
Thanks for the review and I pretty much agrees with you about the *IVT*. If I were to buy my first new car for commuting that would not be my top pick, sorry Kia.

I am positive KIA is much more reliable than Jetta and even Mazda. KIA is not going to disappoint you!

Just to point out it has port fuel injection not direct. Same motor as Elantra.
You forgot to mention it comes with ventilated seats, which is very rare for the segment

Looks good. Now give us the SX sport model. 200+ HP, manual and DCT transmissions, etc. Kia, if your really serious, give us the forte and forte 5 N.
