@NationalParkService The Badlands are incredible! The Hooten's were captivated and inspired by the rugged beauty of the landscape. Our stay included an epic family Jeep ride, close encounters with Bison, hilarity with Prairie Dogs, and a birthday party for a little girl who turned five and decided she wants to be a cowgirl forever.
Post Badlands, we boondocked at a place called Nomad View right outside of Wall South Dakota. It is free camping right on the side of a dropoff that overlooks the Badlands. What an experience. Lily and Emily were inspired and wrote a song dubbed "Nomad View." I'm biased but I think its a hit!

Love your videos. We adopted our 3rd child from China in 2001 and she is now a student at Sonoma State (math major!). We are so blessed with all 3 of our children--but thankful we adopted her from China. Life is good. Love watching your story too!

@@HootensandHomies Awesome! We have Emma Juliet from Kunming, China. She says hi to Josie. Emma is 20. She was born in 2000, and we adopted her in 2001. We are so thankful to have her in our life. This has been a tough time because of Covid so she is back home with us, but she is so helpful and we are all making the best of our new reality. Good luck to your family.
