I love all your hints and tip videos Marta, my only negative comment is certainly not about your videos which are just geat, but your reference to Amazon. All the items you are getting fom Amazon can be got from independent art suppliers direct or through ebay. Whilst Amazon are very good for customers it cannot be said the same for it's employees.

I’m sure there’s more! I just thought of using Matt medium which would give a darker tone line. Also a screen printing filler. 😅
      Happy printing 🙌

It is interesting to see different line effects. I will be using some of the ideas you mentioned. I would like to correct you though. On the gesso you transferred the dry and wet lines. The wider printed line was made while the gesso was wet. Please accept this comment as a friendly remark and please keep posting videos. I do like your work.

Thanks for doing this kind of testing and sharing with the rest of us! When I get back to collagraph work I will definitely try introducing some of this. I’m always after ways to introduce new and different line work, other than just drawing on the piece after it’s dry. That feels a little like cheating to me!

You are welcome, I’m all for cheating though 🙈

Interesting! Another thing to try is dimensional fabric paint that comes in small tubes with small tips. Similar to the acrylic paint lines, I reckon,

Thank you, it’s always helpful when you get it in small tip tube already!

Great demonstration, I can’t thank you enough… What is scrim, and where can I purchase some please? And also the micacous iron oxide. Thank you!!

Hi there, thank you so much and really glad you enjoyed the video. Scrim is a fabric used for wiping in printmaking and micaceous iron oxide is a paint by Golden. Paint can be bought in any store that sells Golden products or online and scrim can be bought by any store that sells printmaking products. I could give you lots of examples of stores in UK but I’m guessing you are not in UK?

It’s a craft syringe. It actually came as part of a set of bottles with tips I bought on Amazon. AIEX 21pcs Needle Tip Bottle Set,... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09YYKP83P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The lines in the gel medium were the other way round - weren't they? 🤔 🙂
