So you only have one day to pollinate the female flowers , If your bees or you miss that one day , that furit wouldn't make it (sorry) If the male flower closes after opening, I think you might still have one day left to open it and get some pollen... If you have other squash plants or zucchini plants or even pumpkin plants, you could cross pollinate use their mail flower pollen to any female..

If you cross pollinate from a yellow squash male to a zucchini female, would the result be a weird mixture? Thanks again!
I cross pollinate many times before and never strange came out of it .. I would love to see a mix or something lol .. it comes out the same .. normal

If the female flower already has a fruit started doesn't than mean it was already pollinated ?
If the fruit is about three and a half inches - four inches long, it means it pollinate already..
