Kazuya should actually have a Yakuza series crossover where after he comes back from the cliff he runs away and gets picked up by the Yakuza, and his fighting on the streets fosters his brutality.
Also, Kaz and Jinpachi have no quarrel with each other, Kaz and Jin actually dont have a personal grudge against each other either, thats why neither of them kills the other no matter how.many chances they have, eapecially with Kaz.
Ogre returning would be sick. He’d be great for the season 2 dlc. And yes make Paul great again.
I would sub Ogre if he was playable

How do you solve Askua and Lili? Its simple. Lili is a troll, she has nothing better to do with her life and really just wants attention, and Asuka keeps falling for her provocation. So you basically have Asuka realize that and tell Lili off.
Lili: OHOHOHOHO, look at this Asuka, I'm so much better than you yadda yadda

Ogre is the best (non Mishima) boss in the Tekken series. Undisputed
The series just keeps going around in a circle without a breaking point that would just lead to an ending.

Of all the new story ideas I've heard regarding Tekken, the one with Hwoarang is by far the most brilliant... my hat goes off to you on that one.
There's also the loose end regarding Miguel and his vow to make Jin suffer when his mind is at peace (favorite arcade ending in T7 BTW). This can be further expanded upon by having Reina manipulate Xiaoyu's friend Miharu into telling of their whereabouts that Xiaoyu entrusted to her. Why would she do this? Perhaps she was sick of being a third wheel in Xiaoyu's life, which pushed her to go on a dark path, sell Jin out to Miguel, and join the new Mishima Zaibatsu Reina intends to build, making her relevant to the story again and giving new drama for Xiaoyu after she (almost) got her fairy tale ending.
I always wanted Feng Wei to be the new main antagonist, if only as a means of getting Asuka's story past this Kenan and Kel sitcom she's in with Lili at the moment... but then they just had to make Reina too interesting. Is she a legitimate daughter of Heihachi? Is she an artificial clone of Kazumi mixed with Heihachi's DNA? There's so much to unpack, and her potential as a main antagonist is compelling.
Now I wanna see a long-term payoff in the story leading to Angel Asuka vs. Devil Reina, assuming what happened in Tekken 8 with Asuka is the start of a slow burn in her evolution as a character and embracing her heritage, and further expanding on the lore involving what might be the Angel Gene from the Kazama bloodline.

I have an easy suggestion for what to do with Asuka, have her interact with Jin and learn about the Kazama power which makes her seek it out on Yakushima and learn about it herself
I'm really disappointed and surprised there was no interaction between Asuka and Jun. We still don't know what relation they have to one another.
@@Nightmare-ro9fnI would’ve been happy with one interaction with Jin, and what did we get? Both of them on Lili’s jet, not three feet away from each other, with the Kazama family tree right in front of Asuka and not a single word.

That first minute and thirty seconds was a good clarification on that subject while remaining completely neutral.
It's DEFINITELY something that has been confusing me because it seemed like you'd flip from claiming the story didn't matter to it mattering on a dime which made the weight of your videos discussing Heihachi seem biased, glad it's a bit clearer now and the added information about your thoughts on Heihachi dying helps a lot.
Personally, I heavily disagree about Heihachi's death, but it doesn't really matter and I shouldn't be trying to convince you otherwise. Difference strokes for different folks and what not.
As Far as Story is Concerned I'm really looking forward to finding out how the Fuck Reina got the Devil Gene. I'm hoping that it involves Kazumi in someway ..... either her essence in another Woman .... or another member of the Hachijo Clan that Bumps Uglies with Hei. Rather than a Secret Lab thing.
Whether Reina's mother will be the last season one character or just a story element is going to fun to find out too.

Just knowing how Tekken operates they’re not giving no character development unless their part of the Mishima bloodline. Tekken and Sf need somebody in their division that knows how to have good storytelling higher a well known manga author or something. This is why I say MK has the best lore in fighting games. Now lately, they haven’t been perfect, but they’re still ahead of everybody else by far.
When Chosing a Character the Story is not a Factor at All for me..... What is Critical is their Look, Mannerisms and Voice/Noises ...... cos you have to live with them every match ...... I've rejected many a Character that suits my playstyle cos they urk me in someway.
Love the ideas you brought up. Been saying Paul went from being Kazuya’s rival and beating ogre to being an absolute joke after Tekken 4. I miss serious Paul as he’s my fav Tekken character. Love Ogre (Ancient) too. He needs to return. Jinpachi was cool too.

That sounds amazing. I'd love to see some team ups. They did retcon hachi to be "good" I'd like to see how that plays out in dialogue with some of the cast. Jinpachi and ogre returning would make this the greatest tekken ever.

Tekken 7 was told from the perspective of Heihachi Mishima to the reporter. He embellished his past to make himself a hero and removed all the awful things he done to gain power from the narrative.
For yoshimitsu he could finally lost control of the sword after beign defeated by brian and mutates into a demon in the style of soul calibur and becomes a secondary enemy in addition to the main treat as he goes into a rampage, this makes him a new target to neutralize to the heroes but to feng wei this becomes an exciting new challenge, meanwhile dr bosconovich resourfaces and alisa offers to help to stop the monstrous ninja and help him return to his senses
Really like the ogre story!
I would add with the return of ogre the pendant of Michelle starts to awaken beneath the lake (Michelle t2 ending). This is somehow a key to ogres world? Realising this the mishimas need Michelle’s knowledge on the pendant to stopping ogre.
This opens up old wounds for Michelle and it would be interesting to see her interact with heihachi and Kaz.
Plus I want my girl back.
I could see Lee enjoying the fight of Jinpachi, Heihachi, Kazuya, Lars, Jin and Reina the way Loki did it in Avengers when Ironman and Thor fough 💀
It was very exciting when Capcom brought Ogre back for Street fighter X Tekken. Ogre will always be a brilliant iconic villain because his purpose was very simple and clear with some touches of dignity. Mishima's storyline is a little bit a soap opera with steroids... you know, the domination of the strongest in family circle, who's running better the company and between all those, a tournament to lure out someone who can resist the challenge. So, now you get my point why this tournament was so meaningful back in the Tekken 3
Still waiting for Kazuya to go through his enlightenment arc, since it looks like Heihachi is getting the Tekken 4 Jin treatment..
I want to see Bruce & Anna come through as ride or die homies for Kazuya, so he can drop this Billy no mates shtick.

I think Kazuya is going to be the central or in other words the main protagonist of tekken 9 because he is the only character that didn't receive a revelation redemption plot line yet and top of that if you paid attention the 2 Main Mishimas both gotten a coma and got a game that centered on them except for Kazuya
Maybe the unknown demon puts the mishimas in a genjutsu and they have to fight their way out...or something
dunno, I think that your variant is more suitable for full mainline game than story expansion in T8

Man would love to see ancient ogre and Jinpachi back, they was my fave team in tag 2.
I don't think Jinpachi is as important to the story as you. He appeared in one game and was the most ridiculous boss character every. I like your suggestions for making the side character content more relevant. Just bring some of the characters arcs to some type of conclusion. Some characters are just comic relief and that's just the way it is. I still don't think bring characters back from the dead like ancient ogre back would be good either. I don't think that's really Heiachi either, it could be a clone or another long lost son.

if I were to make something with the story, it would be to resurrect devil jin too, but in his angel devil jin form (the black and white wing one), so he would still have the anger and beastlike nature he had, and also the more caring and calm kazama like part (basically what Reina was supposed to be, except he doesn't fake it like her) and have him have some sort of siegfried and nightmare situation, but insdead of having jin vs devil jin like in soul calibur, I would have them be more like brothers, afterall devil jin always protected jin, from the very start it's not even a slight retcon, the clues were all there in plain sight.
Eventually after I don't know, a final battle with jin and angel devil jin vs x villain (would be cool if it's ogre, the one who started it all, but even Reina and heihachi would be cool) I would make them split up, with jin doing his thing and angel devil jin doing it's own, and maybe get more stories, we kinda already have lots of stories, but they're almost always left open ended or never ended, like the whole king story, and feng's who basically are protagonists of they're own stories really, having them split up would basically at least allow to have always 2 main stories, one more on the classic fighting battles with jin, and one more on the mystical and magic side with angel devil jin, and maybe that would also get more stories by consequence, with like king ending or still continue but with more details the feud between marduk and armor king, and so on, and also I hope they follow the standard that sf6 will probably create (although sf6 is basically street fighter deception) and stop with movie story modes.
Movie story modes worked for a while especially in the start with mk9, but they got old quickly, and they are very limiting and probably also expensive with the amount of cg or even not cutscenes they gotta make, an open world game(it doesn't need an oc character, it could also easily work with the main characters, and they kinda tried already with scenario campaign, that had it's issues but I feel like the interactions we want are there) where they can easily make more updates or more stories for every single character, alongside interactions qand maybe even special guest character events.
What if the Tekken universe Yakuza had ties with the mishima zaibatsu and hwoarang becomes a villain by going up the ladder of the criminal underworld until he's working together with Kazuya. That would also be a perfect way of including Kiryu into the story if he ever becomes a guest character.

I was so disappointed with the T7 story like i thought they would show why Nina's in the wedding dress, the relationship between Katarina and gigas with gigas being Marduk and what happened to him etc but none of that was shown or explained and we got a journalist with the most depressing voice...
With Tekken 8 i thought jun would have a BIG part in the story along with ancient ogre but they literally got little to no screen time. Super disappointed BUT this heihachi resurrection and story dlc seems interesting. God i hope i won't be disappointed again 😩
Yes i know gigas is not Marduk but before the game came out it was looking like they revamped him into gigas.

I loved it all the way up until the ogre duplicates but it was more just funny to me not a bad idea necessarily.
Genius idea for Jinpachi return and Ogre. I honestly think even just Ogre could be enough of an issue for the Mishimas if they make it like, it’s the ultimate Ogre, not just A fighting god but THE fighting god. This ogre could even get a bit of a redesign that isn’t far off from the OG but still different. Or idk just my 2 cents, love the idea and the video 💪🏽

I stopped following the story after the 4th game. It was just too much of the same, just back and forth between Heihachi and Kazuya and then with Jin. It was so much stepping further and further into the anime territory and story in 8 just felt like Dragonball Z. In that way MK1 was so much better and I just can't say one bad thing about its story without autistically nitpicking. It's a shame because I really want to like Tekken story but it's just all over the place and being more cohesive and grounded in reality would help it tremendously imho.

ngl, i feel like all your suggestions are lame as fuck. Bringing back ancient ogre (one of the most stupidest looking tekken characters) just after we finally gotten rid of Azazel is about as boring a plot i can think off. Also, paul just randomly seriously hurting his best friend and running off also makes very little sense for the character.
It wouldn't be random. He's seen as a joke. He's not as strong as he used to be. He's broke financially. He hasn't done anything of significance. It all starts to bother him as a martial artist that isn't living up to his potential and he snaps. Obviously, to each their own. If you think its lame to you then it's lame to you.

@@philgamer9499 Kazuya will get his devil, powers back because Kazuya has absorbing abilities, If Kazuya can Absorb and manipulate and summon lightning for a powerful purple electric wind godfist, to Jin in Tekken 8’s final chapter fight. then there’s no way Kazuya wouldn’t be able to get his devil gene back, either from Reina or Ogre. And let’s be honest Tekken 8’s story is getting very stupid, for bringing back heihachi, just to ruin Tekken 7’s plot. I cannot take Tekken 8’s story seriously Everything about Tekken 8’s story mode was great, besides the dlc story bringing heihachi, back for a bullshit reason.

Kazuya recognized Paul's strength by becoming aware that Paul defeated Ogre in Tekken 3. Paul's broke ass could use the money and ontop of that his reward could be earning the right to face Kazuya in a 1v1; something he has wanted for over 20, years.it has to be the Paul from Tekken 4 not this goofy ass Paul. THAT Paul would wash anybody that isn't a Mishima. His death fist is Boss fight material
