If you're referring to Bud vs Spence rematch it's because Spence and his team eventually voided the contracted because they were holding Bud up. Spence waited 3 months after the first fight to then opt to get an eye surgery which would added another 2-3 months of recovery and THEN a whole training camp before the rematch could even thought of happen. If you're referring to Bud vs Spence rematch it's because Spence and his team eventually voided the contracted because they were holding Bud up. Spence waited 3 months after the first fight to then opt to get an eye surgery which would added another 2-3 months of recovery and THEN a whole training camp before the rematch could even thought of happen. So they EVENTUALLY release Bud from that obligation. Capeesh?
