thank you for making review videos, me and my bro just started playing and we're watching through your videos to help us start getting to the "end game" a bit more efficently
I find the bottom line is a lot better, because they will survive quite a bit longer, and the way I play them is when I use the advance, because I play maul, (which is quite the unit killer), I will use the advance because when I use it it seems to stun and knock over enemies, so I take advantage of that and me and my allies can basically finish of the enemy unit/units, so I don't find the extra damage, as valuable as that extra defence. Plus that extra 20% defence is huge.
You should get halberdier Sargent's they are a counter to almost everything apart form muscust and crossbowman but with good positionion that can be prevented with good positionion although ratton ranger's do Shrek them a bit
once i play defense and about losing. There's shield troop blocking the gate both my team and opposing. suddenly there's an opening in my team. This unit just come out from bracing shield and pushed my team's troops. insta-lose coz this troop lol.
Saw that you have the reduced Charge cooldown doctrine on them, does it actually reduce the cooldown for advance ? Looking forward to unlocking these next!
You know like the changes really did shake up alot I think it made alot of units more viable! So viable that I started using javelin sergeants! Like what 😊 and alot of others use javelins to! It added so much more fun into the game
@@EvoLozGaming top or bottom tree? :P I find it pretty hard to make them work that's why I went for bottom so they get more defence statts and a passive heal at some point so it's harder to punish them like if you place these units incorrectly it's kind of like bam Well there goes your unit XD. I actually been using kriegrats before them and they are really good but as I said like those javelins cam be punished pretty hard those fusiliers? Good god man if you set them up correctly and people don't have sightlines they do really well but that's occasionally... Those javelins still got that but alot less but their performance is also worse Which tree are you going for? Think like the highest amount of kills I got wirh my javelin sergeants so far is like 90 because it their surprisingly good defence statts and the passive heal would be optimal for my playstyle with them :)
I'm going top tree with them, I think the passive heal sounds nice but i'm finding I spend a lot of time heading back to supply point to get more ammo anyway so can heal there
@@stolemycoconut5448 top tree, double shot is a real game changer for them, 4 volleys in 10 seconds is pretty great. they are probably the most fun unit i have, i especially like how they can keep throwing even while you are dead, getting the revenge kills and if they are sat on a supply they cen throw for days obviously lol. plus they arent totally useless in melee anymore and seem to throw a full salvo even if they have a smidge of ammo left
brace got some buffs as well, and it keeps em more or less in formation.... if you dont do that they go roam arround on their own, and get easily outflanked by even low sword units
Yeah as below the brace isn't great for this unit, its the advance that makes them great but generally speaking, particularly when against large numbers of enemies and after your advance has finished brace is the best option short of pulling the unit out completely
@@suvonhernandez843 it does not. unless the unit has a skill causing it, which is only the case for halberd sergeants, spear sergeants and pike militia.
owned it.... disbanded it .... :( lack of unit space is crap because even the low lvl sword units i had to delete, so to fill 800 leadership (strike that 818 now ;) ) leaves me with 140 ish which a low lvl sword with charge could fill.... but i just dotn got room for those anymore ;( ... .but that aside.... imp pikies are either really good or when outflanked during push... useless ;) but then again mine were only lvl 11 or so when i disbanded them with mediocre buffs
@@lightvalentine7625 it isnt possible anymore ... the medium armor set (carnifex) did give 100 extra leadership, but they changed that in season 3 to another bonus... so all you can get is 700+ any bonus on leadership you can get on any of youre armor pieces ... for instance i use light armor now an i got 760 leadership 700 +60 (20 + 11 + 16 + 13 on each of my armor pieces)
their damage at the moment is too high, but their biggest problem is that the knockdown happens way infront of their pikes, even if you see them comming and runaway emediatly their slow advance still catches your units all the time. at this point in the game they are a counter to any melee unit both inf and cav and you have to run from them when you see them comming in the distance, the skill charge which is supposed to be fast is much easier to dodge because units kinda wind up before they charge, but for advance theres not even wind up time.... while im happy we have something to deal with cavspam now, they seriously need a nerf very quickly
It kinda makes sense though because you don't just walk with a knife and expect it to stab on it's own although it would make a lot more sense if they made the stabbing animation so I see where you)re getting at also thats why they have a long cooldown
why would you use a charge cooldown doctrine on a unit that does not even have a charge? (and no, the doctrine does not reduce the cool down of advance)

Glad they have been useful :)

Cocky person: You noob get rekt

The unit: *fails to exist*

i heard that if you advance with imp pikes into a bracing halberd unit then the pikes win
@@VitalaOnMusik max level VS max yes . sometimes they lose but most of the time the Sargent's win

Always the ace of countering
They sure are :)
Slow advance is freaking deadly
Yeah its brutal if you end up in front of it :-D
if you use the advance against a charging cav (doesn't matter what cav, even hussars) they delete that cav
Yeah advance is basically unstoppable, but its the units main strength, its brace and general combat largly suck
VitalaOnMusik yeah put them with a shield wall and you can safe that wall if you advance just right
Saw that you have the reduced Charge cooldown doctrine on them, does it actually reduce the cooldown for advance ?
Looking forward to unlocking these next!
Unfortunately it doesn't I tried to see if it would but unfortunately it stays the same cooldown
just checked and mine which dont have the 9% charge cooldown are also 50 seconds, so might wanna replace that doctrine >_>
Ah thanks for checking, well spotted oh well i'll replace it with something else :-)
what is the best build skills? , the axe two hand

What should i do to get honor fast? I see those values per unit and feels like something impossible to get
U keep fighting?
Just do dailys everyday its an MMO will take a bit to get everything.
Do the feudal missions, daily and weekly missions. You will get most of your honor there
yeah as below daily quests + fief quests are the best ways to get honor fast
why use brace? the brace damage is so low, can you please explain?
Brace causes a stun
