It's been covered 422 times, including Elvis Presley, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and Boyz II Men. Four of the five most covered songs are Beatle songs. Their other most covered songs are Eleanor Rigby 349 times, And I Love Her 263 times, and Michelle 243 times. The Christmas song Silent Night is the 4th most covered song in history at 254 times. To be counted on the list the song had to be covered by a known recording artist. The Beatles dominate the list with 21 of top 50 most covered songs. There's been over 4,000 covers of Beatles songs.
@@patticrichton1135 It depends on the criteria used. The list I went off of the song needed to be released on an album or single by a "known" recording artist. Hundreds of orchestras have performed Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, etc. There's also many recording bands that have included Beatle songs in sets while on tour but never actually recorded the songs on their albums. Think about how many well known artists have sung Silent Night on Christmas specials over the decades. Yet on this list it only amounts to 254 "known" artists that have actually recorded and included it on an album or single. The only real surprise on the list for me was that Silent Night wasn't number one. I figured it had to be an old classic Christmas carol.
Check out their cover of Savage Love to see them switching up the instruments multiple times, mid song. This is characteristic of many of their covers, and they even do it live in concert. Gianni is pronounced like "Johnny", and I pronounced it wrong for the first year or so I followed them.

Looking through your reactions to see what kind of stuff you're reacting too and I'm a little surprise you haven't been inundated with requests for you to react to the young Russian contralto with her unique voice - Diana Ankudinova. She gets reacted to a lot it seems because he voice resonance is so different. Most popular are her covers of Rechenka, Dernier Danse, Wicked Game, and Human on a show she recently won twice when she was 14 & 15. She sings in Russian, English, French, Arabic, and Spanish. She literally has 100s of videos out there of her performances. She's still pretty young - currently 17, though she's been performing on stage since the age of 6. Compelling back story too (from someone who abhorrs back stories). Perhaps you'll take a chance. Would love to actually watch you react because there will be definitive body language going on when you do-
