Soyeon envies Yuqi, who envies Shuhua, who envies Miyeon, who envies Minnie, who finds herself on top but in the end is not happy neither, alone at the bar while others are partying...while at same time Soyeon is finally happy, dancing in her room with an oldschool offline walkman, without internet and toxic social networks, getting rid of the lesson to become a queen.

Minnie is the popular girl who gets everything she wants including a bf but hides her true self cuz if she would be her true self she would be less popular.
Yuqi helps soyeon become "pretty" and acts confident but is insecure about her deep voice and compares herself to the internet.
Shuhua also helps soyeon get a makeover and teaches people to be a queen and girly and hangs out with the popular girls even though she hates them.
Soyeon compares herself to the internet and is "basic" and then becomes insecure about her appearance. Also she gets plastic surgery to be a queen and is left out always.
Miyeon wants to be THAT GIRL the perfect one but wonders every night if she could become more prettier and popular than minne but really suffers from it.
This song is about girls getting insecure because of the internet and never learned to love who they truly were.

Yuqi and Miyeon's voice really suits pop punk rock songs! Also Soyeon's rap is excellent as ever. The way she delivers it is exceptional. Very nice storytelling

Notice when Soyeon runs out of the plastic surgeons office and meets her Ideal Self (Minnie), glasses aside the only difference in their outfits is Soyeon is wearing a huge Cross necklace and Minnie (her perfected version and the top of the modern day food chain) is wearing a large gold Pentagram. There is a lot of other symbolism in this as well but I haven’t seen anyone talk about it so I’ll put it here

Gidle really is smth! Their songs hit different and their concepts are really so versatile and yet so imp.. this song states how a person gets insecure about themselves and try to be someone who is perfect which is relatable to almost everyone bc we all tend to feel insec towards people who are better than us and our flaws make us feel even more imperfect.. the society is partially the cause too and def the social media is to blame too but anyways the mv was so fun and everyone looked so pretty here like fr .. and the song is really a 100/100

'Mirror Allergy' and the role that she play in the MV reminds me when Soyeon was on PRODUCE101 she was just 17 years old and she received so many hate comments (She's talented but she ugly etc.) just because she didn't fit the beauty standard at that time and it was so sad because she said 'I got angry looking in the mirror' and she started to accept it and think she ugly because people told her that, I'm so happy and proud that she's confidence and love herself now and speak up about this stuff through the song💖
