A little bit specialist ,this is the original mix of this track and was featured on the NOW white label with "let it roll". It's also the b-side to the WARP release. 1989 WARP
I bought the original white from Crash records in Leeds back in the summer of '89, well before it's official release. This is not the same as the white labelled version because there was the Voodoo Ray ' aye ya' sample on the white label.
Hell yeah, only been looking for you since 1992 Dextrous... thanks Jonah and Pete in T.O. on the turntables way back then. Great track, such a great/easy tune to beatmix with back when we only had vinyl
@subclonk - used to go to limit when it was a breakdance club (gota have been 84/85 ish) watchin smac 19 rippin up the floor, where a lot of the dj's who ended up on SCR/fantasy fm cut their teeth music wise too as I remember. Went to see Word of Mouth ft DJ Cheese perform King Kut there if memory serves. Your right about sheff rockin though, some class sounds came out of the warp stable. Will never forget the early 90's Saturday nights on london road at the palais with a strawberry or two!!
is there another version of this? this version doesnt really match what i remember exactly.. was there another mix? remix? - ahh i see whats going on. the non-downbeat mix of it is blocked in my country on youtube..
@FranticLes remember it well mate limit sat afternoons breakdancin was 85 i think then the same people at occasions then on to c js wish i had a time machine lol
Loved in Toronto since way back. Sunday nights at the Spectrum.
One of my favorite tracks ever🎼🎼
One of the very earliset releases on WARP and IMHO one of the best. Im 40 years old today, and i am feeling myself back in the fields
