Nice sharp cone turns on this Triangle design, Mike. Good slow turning skills definitely are handy for u-turns, often prompted by Traffic Lights that don't acknowledge motorcycles frustratingly. Nice riding skills here. I often find myself making a right turn just to avoid never-changing left turn Traffic Light signals with no traffic around, activated only by weight sensors of cars/trucks. I could be sitting there forever at some lights, so I make a right, then a fast left and I'm through the light. The Traffic light designers never considered motorcyclists many times.
Good point Frank. I was at a light yesterday by myself and after about 3 minutes realized that this light will not change for me. Once the traffic cleared, I just ran that red light.

Yeah, once it's clear, police should understand that some traffic lights will not change at all for motorcyclists if they ever see one turning left when it's red and clear of traffic. I often depend on a car pulling up behind me if I expect many traffic lights to ever change green. But the fun of riding definitely makes up for that flaw of traffic lights.
