No. The birth certificate for the kids is enough. It has the parents’ (you and the mother of your children) name on it. DNA is not needed unless stated otherwise.

Hi there. Firstly, I would suggest you confirm this with the police services of that country if they can produce an official police clearance certificate for you remotely. If they can, it would be best if you have the original copy mailed via Post. The embassy specifically requests original documents along with notarised copies.
Your wife needs her medical report, her police clearance certificate, and obviuosly your marriage certificate...to proof that u are married to each other....Thanks..

Hi Charity, to the best of my knowledge through research etc. Customary marriages are considered as marriage, however, for the purpose of immigration your friend would need to submit a Marriage certificate to prove their marriage. For this reason, they will need to request for an official marriage certificate. Because customary marriage is recognised as marriage, please also note that when they complete the DS 260 form they can use the date of their customary wedding/marriage and not necessarily the date the marriage certificate was issued. When you were applying, there was a section of your passport number, there is no way you can apply without a passport

Go to the relevant authority and apply for a marriage certificate..They dont accept traditional marriage certificate..per U.S law.
