I do photorealistic renders for the final final presentation but during the process submissions I stick with a more collage style and muted colour palette with loose human figures and flat textures to give my ideas room to grow as I improve the design. It really helps in that way plus it's a huge time-saver and yet a great means of communicating an idea in 3D.

That's one of the best architecture improving skills on TH-cam so far! Never came in my mind to show my projects at school with collages. I love it the references that you use on the video. I'm really excited to apply this form of presentation in my future projects. :D Thank you so much for the tips. They're really useful.

Thanks for an awesome video, just started using this style.
    3. Videos that could be nice ^.^'
    1. Rhino crash course (because I am an idiot to the program)
    2. Different kind of render styles with pros and cons - you mentioned the classic computer render in your video and that there exists other styles of renderes, so could be nice to see them too, because I only know computer render and collage.
And third if possible, any way to make your own cutouts. I have had a hard time finding graphic illustration people in good quality for my collages, and the other option is realistic people. What I have done is using a photohop filter (not sure what the filter is called ind english) to give my realistic cutouts some rough edges.
