@@chewmeful WHY are electrics not fitted with anti spin software so they automatically stop & refuse to go anywhere to prevent motor burnout & running down the battery so the only way to move them is to dead push without any power at all.
@@ANDREWLEONARDSMITH in all honesty I wasn’t aware that electric cars didn’t have traction control, I would think in 2020/2021 it would be illegal for a manufacturer to sell any car without all their safety software?
@@chewmeful They do have traction control. The Leaf is incredibly easy to drive in the snow. Its impossible to stall an EV, so you can pull away as gently as you want to with no drama.
Yip your right i have Avon WV7 winter tyres and have no problem driving in the Western highlands of Scotland in the snow. Most of the time i am stuck because of tourists with summer tyres stuck on a tiny wee hill. Where i live, Winter clothes , winter tyres and a winter survival pack in the boot just in case.
Yeah, tyres make all the difference. I have an AWD with Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires, a shovel, traction boards, extra winter clothing, and other gear in my vehicle. Be prepared for the environment you are in.
I can't understand why people would try and drive up leckhampton hill in snow! Simple route along A46 to the A417 and up to Birdlip which would have been salted!! Why are people so stupid?
